Frequently Asked Questions

Q:   How do I get admission in BHU Law faculty?

A:

Faculty of Law, Banaras Hindu University offers admission to candidates in UG courses based on their CUET-UG score. For PG programmes, aspirants need a valid score in CUET-PG. The selection for PG Diploma course is based on the merit of the candidates in the last qualifying exam. Once the entrance exam results are out, candidates need to register for BHU counselling and provide their course preference. Aspirants are allotted seat based on their CUET rank.

Q:   What entrance exam scores does Faculty of Law, Banaras Hindu University accept for admission to BA LLB?

A:

As of my last knowledge update in January 2022, Banaras Hindu University's Faculty of Law for B.A. LL.B admission typically conducts its own entrance examination known as the BHU Undergraduate Entrance Test (UET). The UET is the primary admission criteria for various undergraduate programs, including B.A. LL.B, offered by the university.

While the UET is the standard entrance test, Banaras Hindu University may consider Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) scores as part of the admission process. However, the weightage given to HSC scores and other eligibility criteria can vary, and it's essential for prospective students to check the specific admission guidelines provided by the Faculty of Law for the academic year in question.

Candidates aspiring to pursue B.A. LL.B at Banaras Hindu University should regularly visit the official university website or contact the admission office for the most accurate and updated information regarding the admission process, including the acceptance of HSC scores. The university's admission policies may undergo changes, and direct communication with the university authorities is the most reliable way to obtain current and precise details about the admission requirements for B.A. LL.B.

In summary, while the BHU UET is the primary entrance examination, the acceptance and consideration of HSC scores may be part of the holistic admission criteria. It is advisable for candidates to refer to the latest official notifications or contact the university for the most accurate and up-to-date information regarding the admission process for B.A. LL.B at Banaras Hindu University.
