The Operations Management programme at UPES Dehradun combines a total of 182 course credits, distributed across categories such as Major Foundation (48%), Major Core (23%), Specialization (3%), SIP & Industrial Training (3%), Life Skills (7%), Signature (8%), and Minors (8%). In the initial semester, students study subjects like GMHR 12, ECON 100, FINC 1001, totaling 26 credits. Subsequently, in the second semester, the curriculum includes HRES 300, DSQT 100, FINC 1002, among others, also amounting to 26 credits.

UPES accommodates a comprehensive capacity of 470 seats for candidates pursuing their MBA/PGDM program, providing an extensive range of options for management education. The majority of these seats, amounting to 440, are allocated to the School of Business at UPES, while an additional 30 seats are extended by the UPES Admission Office. This distribution is designed to cater to a diverse pool of students with varied academic and career aspirations within the field of management.

Candidates who have passed graduation in any stream along with Class 10 and Class 12 with at least 50% aggregate can apply for MBA course. Apart from meeting the eligiiblity requirement, candidates also need to pass either UPESMET/ CAT/ CUET PG  for admission to MBA course. In case, any aspirant fails to secure the minimum marks* specified by the university, he or she will need to appear for UPESMET. For admission to Global MBA, aspirants only need to come for the PI round. The shortlisted candidates will be called for a personal interview round for further selection. After completion of the selection rounds, aspirants will need to prove their eligibility by provding necessary documents for verification. Aspirants need to pay a course fee to confirm their seat in the university.
