Totally satisfied with this college. This college is good, except its fee structure.
Placements: Placements of students do not depend on the course in UPES. It depends on the students. If they are capable, they definitely get selected. For the record from our course, 70 students of our seniors who are currently in 4th year are already placed. The lowest salary offered is 3 LPA. The highest salary offered is 15 LPA. Infosys, L&T and TCS, are top recruiting companies. Roles of a developer are offered. Internships also depend on the students. They get interns in the companies on their own capabilities in whatever companies they want. Due to the collaboration of IBM, they can get an internship in IBM.
Infrastructure: The college provides 24x7 Wi-Fi facility for all the courses. The library and classrooms are also very well maintained, but for the internet of things course, there are only a few labs. The hostel, mess, and other services are too good. All the additional facilities, like medical services, etc., are also there.
Faculty: Teachers here were very helpful. There are professionals and knowledgeable professors. They are always ready to help their students even they provide their phone numbers to the students for their convenience. Not only our course but also every course curriculum is relevant. It depends on the students that how much knowledge they gain. The university did their best for students.
Other: I have chosen this branch because I am interested in learning more about sensors and their working, and that's the speciality. Our branch is totally about sensors and their implementation. In our course, the teaching of the firmware coding part needs to be improved. Many types of events are always conducted at our university. The biggest of all events is Uurja, and it is the annual fest of UPES. Surrounding is very beautiful like it is heaven. UPES is totally surrounded by mountains and greenery. They provide scholarships to their best students. But the only thing that any student does not want to support this college is that its fee is too high.

The college has a good infrastructure. The campus surroundings are awesome.
Placements: Almost every student in CIT gets placed before the starting of the 8th semester. Talking about the placements of branches other than CIT, they usually do not get placed in the retail sector. Only a few top students get placed in their core stream. The average salary package offered is around 4.5 LPA.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is the aspect where our college excels. We have a great scenic view from the campus. The infrastructure of the college is mind-blowing. Our college is located in a valley which is surrounded by mountains. The scenic view can catch one's attention, and one can fall in love with the scenic beauty easily. There are a total of 11 blocks where classes and labs are held. We have a 3-storey library, and the college also has 3-storey computer labs other than the 11 blocks. We also have research and development block, ONGC Museum, ONGC RIG Zone, MIG 24 and a panzer, Tata 6X6 truck which was gifted from the military to our college; it draws a lot of attention.
Faculty: Faculty members in our college are generally young and active. Most of the faculty members are aged between 28-38 years. They are highly qualified. Most of them have published at least one research paper. They are also very helpful and friendly.
Other: Our college puts a lot of efforts for the students to follow discipline on the campus. The campus is ragging-free. It's mandatory for all students to wear a uniform every day.

The college is not worth the money.
Placements: Placements in our college are not up to the mark as the package offered is about 4.75 LPA which is considered very low nowadays. The college invites companies, but they recruit only a few students out of all. The college does fraud activities at times.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is average compared to other colleges. It needs a lot of improvement. Labs are not equipped with the latest technology aids. Only one sports ground is available for students to play all sports like cricket, football etc.
Faculty: Most of the faculty members in our college are good, but some have ego problems. Some are not knowledgeable. I would rate the faculty members 3 out of 5. The student-faculty ratio is poor, that is 100:1. Industrial visits are organised for 3rd year students.
Other: The college organises sports competitions and other curricular activities. A major fest named Urrja is conducted.

Excellent College, I would like recommend the browsers to check the YouTube videos and UPES site.
Placements: From UPES almost 98% of students get placed every year, and other 2% are mostly go into higher-education. The highest package of 2017 was 29 Lacs (pa). And this year, (2018) though the year haven't ended yet but till now the current the highest package has been 24 Lacs (pa). And average package offered is 6 to 8 Lacs.
Infrastructure: UPES is situated in the foothills of Himalayas so, the scenarios one experiences in our campus is beyond imagination. Labs are well maintained, we have a different buildings for library and IT. Classes are well scheduled, UPES make use of online portals for displaying marks and attendance.
Faculty: Faculty members are very friendly and couthy. They are very helpful and available from 9am to 5:30pm every working day. The teaching method used is very updated well scheduled semester wise. UPES take their students for industrial visit in 3rd year and also make students contact with the company representatives right from the 1st year itself.
Other: Medical service, Campus Hostel and other surroundings are spacious and beautiful. There is 24*7 Wi-Fi connection in CAMPUS as well as in hostel.

A huge campus with high fees which is not worthy.
Placements: Placement here is good. Many companies come and also give jobs to many students with a good package. This college has almost 99% placement record, by the end all the students are placed. If anyone wants to take placement according to their wish, for them the grades are very important. And the most of the students are placed in mass recruitment only.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is great. It is a very large campus and every year a new building is made as the fees for the students is very high. The college is located at a very beautiful place, the weather is amazing here sometimes. People here even come from different countries.
Faculty: Courses here are good. They have many specializations in computer Science only. But they do not have good faculty according to the courses. If the faculty will be good these courses and the students will have a great future. And in the coming time, these courses will go to a very high level.

Is there any international placements after B.Tech CSE in from UPES? What is the average domestic and international placement?

I never heard that any student get any international placement after B.Tech in CSE. But, yes many students go abroad after clearing GRE or GMAT exam for further studies.
