The UPES Dehradun provides modern amenities with state-of-the-art infrastructure to its students. The campus is spread across 44 acre of land with domain-specific labs, hostels, and facilities for curricular and extra-curricular activities. Some of the highlights of the infrastructure of UPES are as follows:
- Library: UPES library has a seating capacity of more than 400 students and contains over 73,327 volumes of publications including books, standards, reports, proceedings, and more than 150 national and international journals. It also has a rich collection of online resources in terms of CDs, access to specialised portals on oil and gas and power-related information
- Hotels: UPES has a separate hostel for boys and girls with a capacity of more than 2000 students at the Bidholi and Kandoli campuses. All the hostels have a Wi-Fi facility for learning. A common room has been provided in each hostel for relaxation and a 24*7 power backup and solar power water heaters facility is available
- Cafeteria: The university has a multi-storied food court within the campus, has a number of food courts and cafeterias with a modern ambiance to provide nutritious and balanced meals, snacks, and beverages to students of both campuses
- Sports Complex: UPES has a multipurpose playground for playing hockey, cricket, football, and other sports with world-class sports facilities and equipment

UPES’s library has a seating capacity of more than 400 students and contains over 73,327 volumes of publications including books, standards, reports, proceedings and more than 150 National and International journals in the fields of petroleum exploration, power, infrastructure, chemical, computer, electrical, electronic and mechanical engineering, information technology and management, etc. It also has a rich collection of online resources in terms of CDs, access to specialized portals on oil and gas and power related information. UPES has also acquired institutional memberships of the British Council Library, the American Centre Library, the AIMA Library, the Central Secretariat library and DELNET, IIP, WIHG Dehradun. As a part of collaboration IFP,France has gifted a large no. of books and Shell, a global oil major has also gifted a large number of technical books to the library.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure in our college was fabulous. The facilities in our college, like labs, classrooms, and libraries, are the best. Infrastructure: I am staying in a private hostel, which has a good ambience for study. The infrastructure of our college is good, and it offers many courses. There are 2 labs for automotive engineering where we learn about all the components of vehicles starting from chassis to powertrain. Wi-Fi speed is not so good. Labs have a good range of equipment. Our campus has 3-floors library with a good sitting space. Quite interesting books are available in the library, and we can utilise our quality time.
Infrastructure: The whole campus is enabled with the Wi-Fi facility. The classrooms are well-designed. The greenery environment surrounding the campus is one of the best things. Infrastructure: University of petroleum and energy studies have two buildings. One is located in Bidholi, and the other campus is in Kandoli that is 3km away from Bidholi campus. It is located on the hill, and it is 9km from Prema Nagar, via Nanda ki chowki, Dehradun. The Bidholi campus is surrounded by a mountain and has a very beautiful view. The infrastructure of the college is marvellous. The location is awesome. The clouds collide with college building in the morning, and it is a wonderful view.
Infrastructure: The college has its own Wi-Fi named UPESNET. The labs here have a separate department named as R&D department where are the labs are present. Here the canteen is fine with hygienic food and the classrooms are big enough for 70 students and we have a huge library of 3 floors.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good, but the college is not in according to the department wise. The labs are good, and there is a biggest playground. The food is good, and the hostels are well cleaned and maintained, I didn't feel any infrastructure issues, and there should be more labs. There are many labs with the good infrastructure, and I just thought there should be departments.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the university is very good. Surroundings of the college are with forests and are pollution-free. The college has 10 blocks, several labs, a library, an energy house, an administration department and separate hostels inside the campus. The college is 10 km away from Dehradun city. Natural beauty can be seen everywhere around the college. Wi-fi has a good speed with good medical facilities, sports and games available. The university owns a cricket stadium.
Infrastructure: The facilities provided by the college is good. The labs and classrooms were good. Food available in the canteen is good. I didn't face any issues regarding infrastructure. The only issue is regarding placements. If this will be solved, then there will be no issue.

M.Tech at University of Petroleum and Energy Studies, was a wonderful experience with huge and wonderful infrastructure built, knowledgeable faculty and placements as good as other same level colleges. Experience of studies into a campus surrounded by Mussoorie mountain ranges, away from polluted and noise cities, made the two years of graduation memorable.
As far as study is concerned, this college is very good. Students who are looking at specific branch and specialization can opt for this college, as this college provides the branch that the student may be interested in. In UPES, a student also gets an opportunity to do a maximum number of 6 internships.
It is a very good university with great infrastructure, labs, facilities, teachers, and atmosphere. Placement is also very good. One who wants to take part in Sports University welcomes them. Culture and Technical fest are so amazing that one never miss them. University is offering specialization course in different fields. So it is a good University for those who want to make their career in specific field of petroleum, automotive and infrastructure.
It’s a well-known college but lacks the spark which was there. It provides average placements, awesome weather and infrastructure. You should be focused on getting things done by yourself. Don’t expect a lot from college as they will bring the company, but if you are a mediocre student it won't be that much of a help.
Infrastructure: Our university is really great in terms of infrastructure. Labs are awesome, and you have a lot of options to explore. You can find every course-related book in the library, and the departments are also very responsible. Hostels are also very safe and good, and you can get every help in it.
Infrastructure: There is Wi-Fi available all around the campus.Classrooms are neat and clean. The library is available for all the students and along with the medical facilities there is always a doctor available for the students and faculty. The food quality in canteen is very good there's also hostel facility available.

As per the information collated from student reviews, UPES Dehradun has limited hostel facility. The campus cannot accommodate all students. However, there are a multiple private hostels available outside the main campus. Students can choose from them as an alternative option.
