UPES Fee Structure
UPES fee structure is a combination of a number of components, such as tuition fee, hostel fee, medical insurance, mess and other security deposits, etc. Out of all the fee components, there are a few components that are charged one-time by UPES, however, some are to be paid semester-wise or annually, such as the tuition fees. The UPES fees amount further is different depending upon the course or specialisation selected by the students. Please find the total tuition fee for all UPES courses in the following table:

Q: What is the fees in UPES for BTech?
A:
The total tuition fee for the BTech programme at UPES ranges between INR 9.5 lakh - INR 18.3 lakh. This fee range does not include the hostel fee or the mess fee and only includes the cost of tuition for the four year BTech programme. The fee mentioned here is taken from unofficial sources and hence, is indicative. Before taking admission to the BTech programme the aspiring candidates need to pay the application fee and the fee for for application is INR 1350.

The selection to BBA course will be based on national and university-level entrance exams like UPESMET UG, UGAT or CUET UG followed by a personal interview round. Placements: Our college placement percentage of students is good. Almost all students are placed in well-known companies like Infosys, etc. The highest salary package offered is 50 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 3 LPA. Some recruiting companies are Infosys, Cognizant, Investors Clinic, etc.
Infrastructure: UPES Dehradun provides various facilities. The infrastructure is very good to ensure a conducive learning environment for students. The entire campus is equipped with high-speed internet and Wi-Fi facilities. There are different types of labs, like petroleum, electrical, etc.
Faculty: Faculty members are very supportive and good in nature. UPES prides itself on having a team of highly qualified and experienced faculty. The curriculum at UPES is designed to be highly relevant and aligned with the latest industry trends. Semester exams are designed to assess both theoretical knowledge and practical skills.
Other: I chose Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science at UPES due to its strong academic reputation and the focus on industry-specific programs. UPES hosts a variety of vibrant events and fests throughout the year. Campus environment is lively and full of opportunities for extracurricular encouragement.

The Faculty Members and Infrastructure of UPES.
Placements: The placement of UPES is awesome, the placement rate is 95%. The highest package for B.Tech CSE is 42 Lakh per annum and the lowest is 6-8 Lakh per annum, average package is 8-10 Lakh per annum. The top companies hire students in UPES. It is the best college for engineering in Dehradun.
Infrastructure: The college is awesome, it provides free internet on campus, it provides a library which is amazing. The quality of food in the canteen and cafeteria is good. The opportunity for sports and other activities is very good for students, also it comes in state and national levels.
Faculty: The teachers are amazing, their teaching skills and knowledge are very good, they teach on smart boards with animated examples. The teachers are well qualified and knowledgeable in their courses, also they help students in their projects and problems.
Other: The campus life of UPES is good, the faculty members are very sincere in their work. The faculty members also provide notes online. The transport facilities of UPES are very nice. The college provides internship programs. The college provides sports games and other activities at state and national levels.

Absolutely satisfied with the faculty members and campus area.
Placements: Yes, there are a considerable number of students being placed at the university. However, the packages the students receive are not what they expect at the time of joining the law school. Recruiters like JSA, LKS, and Khaitan, etc., conduct interviews from the 9th semester onward.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the campus is excellent, giving it a vibrant and scenic ambiance typical of UPES in the hill station of Dehradun. The campus provides good facilities and has a dedicated cleaning staff. However, the Wi-Fi can be somewhat problematic at times. There are various indoor and outdoor games available for students.
Faculty: Since the beginning of our semester, the faculty members of the law department have been very helpful to us. When we entered our 6th semester, they assisted us greatly in choosing our specialization by mentoring us for the same. Additionally, the faculty are highly educated and provide us with a lot of knowledge.
Other: The law festivals held in our college are of good quality, and the sponsors for those events are good, with performances by well-known artists.

A lot of people view our university as one we see in movies, and somewhere that's true.
Placements: Less than 50% of the students get placed. Students mostly lack basics about the subject. Though teachers prepare you well for the interview, students tend to mess up. As a student, you cannot solely rely on campus placements only. You need to have a backup plan as well.
Infrastructure: There are a lot of facilities provided by the college. This university has very nice infrastructure. You'd love to chill inside the campus more than chilling outside. Winters here are heaven. Classrooms are top-notch. Though ACs and heaters don't work, they are just for show. Wi-Fi too sometimes messes up, but it’s rare. Hostel food has a lot of variety. Hostel buildings and rooms are very well built as well as clean.
Faculty: Faculty members are well-qualified and knowledgeable. They are polite and open-minded (of course, there are some exceptions). Overall, they are really helpful, encouraging, and motivating. Exams, though, for law students are a bit more challenging than the rest.
Other: I chose law as my family’s background was in law, so I have always been inclined towards law. Feasts are not that great, like a good 6/10.

Other: The UPES campus is located in a scenic setting and is close to natural attractions. However, it can be somewhat isolated from the city. The campus offers a variety of extracurricular and sports activities, but could use more variety and dedicated space. Scholarship options are available for eligible students.

Overall it was fine but not what I expected from this college.
Placements: They have been promising us to provide 100 % placements since the beginning but the package is very low. Top recruiting companies are not so known. Only 10 from 100 students do get good placements. And not so many global opportunities are being provided.
Infrastructure: The campus is good and nicely built. The food is also very hygienic and clean. Moreover the Wi-Fi never works properly and the classes are fine and digital. The ambiance is also good and clean in some schools for example the school of liberal studies and media cluster.
Faculty: The faculty members are very less knowledgeable about what they are teaching and not very supportive towards the students. They just only know how to give minimum grades to the students. But I will also mention about the teachers I am grateful for who actually works.
