The Institute of Company Secretaries of India releases the CSEET pass percentage for each session. The CSEET pass percentage 2025 January has been released at icsi.edu. ICSI CSEET results January 2025 have been declared at icsi.edu. ICSI CSEET 2025 pass percentage reflects the percentage of students who have cleared the CS Executive Entrance Test. Candidates are declared 'pass' when they meet the qualifying criteria both section-wise and overall. Q:   When can I apply for CS Executive Programme examination?

A:

Candidates who have qualified the CSEET exam will be able to apply for the CS Executive exam. CSEET November 2024 results will be announced soon. Candidates who are declared 'pass' will be able to register for the CS Executive June 2025 exam (both modules) till November 30, 2024. Candidates registering after November 30, 2024 will be able to apply for single module only. The last date to apply for CS Executive June 2025 session (single module) will be notified.

The CS Executive Dec 2024 exam dates has been announced. The exam will be held from June 21, 2024 onwards. Q:   Are there unlimited attempts in CS executive and CS professional?

A:

The Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) conducts the CS Executive and CS Professional exams, which are conducted twice a year in June and December. There is no limit to the number of attempts for either of these exams. Candidates can appear for the exams as many times as they wish until they clear all the papers of the respective level. However, it's important to note that there are some time limitations for completing the CS course.

A candidate is required to complete the CS Executive programme within 3 years from the date of registration and the CS Professional programme within 5 years from the date of registration. If a candidate fails to complete the course within the stipulated time, they will have to re-register and pay the required fee to continue with the course. It's important to regularly check the ICSI website for any updates or changes regarding the number of attempts or other related policies.

Q:   What is the ICSI CS Executive eligibility criteria?

A:

CS Executive examination is held twice in a year- June and December. Candidates must ensure to fulfill the below-prescribed eligibility criteria to appear for the CS Executive examination:

  • Candidate must have passed the CS Executive Entrance Test or CSEET with the required score. 
  • Candidate must have cleared the Foundation Examination of The Institute of Cost Accountants of India
  • Cleared Common Proficiency Test (CPT) of The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI)
  • Arts, Science, and Commerce Graduates/ Post Graduates (excluding Fine Arts) are eligible for admission to the CS Executive programme.
  • Candidates must not be less than 17 years of age.

ICSI CSEET Pass Percentage 2025- Qualifying Criteria

To be declared pass, candidates must meet the CSEET qualifying criteria. As per the criteria, candidates must secure a minimum of 40% in each subject and 50% in aggregate of all subjects. Check the table below:

Candidates willing to appear for the CS Executive Entrance Test CSEET must ensure to fulfill the prescribed eligibility criteria before filling the application form. Check below to know the CSEET eligibility criteria: 1. Candidates applying for CSEET must not be less than 17 years in age as on the date of application. 2. Candidates must have complete class 12th or equivalent from a recognised board. 3. Graduate/Post Graduate candidates who were eligible to seek registration directly to the Executive Programme will also have to qualify CSEET to become eligible for registration to Executive Programme. 4. CSEET is mandatory for all category candidates for registration to Executive programme. Only candidates who will fulfill the above criteria will be able to appear for the CSEET exam.

Q:   How many attempts are there in CSEET?

A:

There are no prescribed number of attempts for CSEET. Candidates can appear for the CSEET exam in multiple attempts until qualified. The validity of the CSEET scorecard is one year. ICSI conducts CSEET examination four times in ayear i.e, January, May, July and November. Candidates can choose to appear for any of the four sessions. However, candidates must stay updated with the cut off dates of CSEET examination.

Q:   How to appear for ICSI CS pre examination test?

A:

To appear for the ICSI CS Pre Examination Test (PET) candidates must refer the steps mentioned below:

Step 1- Visit the official website of ICSI

Step 2- Click on the 'E-learning' tab followed by Pre-Interview Test (PET) tab

Step 3- Select the examination to appear for

Step 4- Select the module

Step 5- Enter the login credentials- Your login ID is your registration number (without any slash sign) suffix with @icsi.edu for example- If your registration number is 1234567/10/2018 then your login ID will be 1234567102018 [at]icsi.edu and fefault password for first time login is Learn@1234

Step 6- Appear for the Pre-interview test online.

Q:   What are the qualifying marks for CSEET exam?

A:
The qualifying marks for CSEET is as follows: 1. The candidate need to score at least 40% in each paper/subject 2. The candidates have to obtain an aggregate of 50% marks in all papers combined. Candidates meeting the above qualifying criteria shall be declared pass. Qualified candidates will be able to register for the CS Executive programme. Candidates failing to meet the qualifying criteria can re appear for the CSEET exam for next session. Candidates will be required to register again for the CSEET exam.

Q:   How can I know if my Desktop or Laptop is meeting the system requirement for CSEET online exam?

A:
CSEET mock test is conducted to familiarise candidates to the actual test environment and also validate the compatibility of the software and hardware. If the candidate encounters any technical issue during the mock test they must contact the technical support notified on the email address sent to all the candidates. The contact details will also be mentioned on the CSEET admit card. Candidates may contact the technical authorities on all working days from 10 AM to 6:00 PM, excluding Sunday.
