The Railway Recruitment Board conducts RRB NTPC to select candidates for non-technical popular categories (NTPC) graduate and undergraduate posts in various Zonal Railways and production units of the Indian Railways. Following the qualifying written exam, the RRB NTPC Typing Test is conducted, and, according to guidelines, candidates would be required to type 300 words at a minimum speed of 30 words per minute (w. p. m.) in English or 250 words at 25 w. p. m. in Hindi on a computer within 10 minutes. What are the different stages of RRB NTPC Cut off?

The cut off of RRB NTPC is released for the following stages: RRB NTPC Cut off for CBT 1 RRB NTPC CBT 1 cut off is released based on the marks scored in General Awareness, Mathematics, and General Intelligence and Reasoning. The cutoff for CBT 1 is calculated out of 100 marks. RRB NTPC Cut off for CBT 2 RRB NTPC CBT 2 cut off is calculated out of 120 marks. Candidates who will secure RRB NTPC Cut off in CBT 2 are shortlisted for document verification, Typing Skill Test/Computer-based Aptitude Test (CBAT) (As per the posts). RRB NTPC cut off is calculated based on the normalised scores. This process is followed to adjust the difficulty level of questions since the exam is conducted in multiple sessions. The scores are normalised using the equi-percentile method. What is the qualifying marks in RRB NTPC CBAT?

The Computer-Based Aptitude Test is conducted for Station Master and Traffic Assistant while Typing Skill Test is held for Junior Clerk cum Typist, Junior Time Keeper, Accounts Clerk cum Typist, Senior Clerk cum Typist, Junior Account Assistant cum Typist and Senior Time Keeper. NRA CET for RRB NTPC Exam

RRB NTPC Syllabus

The standard of topics prescribed in the RRB NTPC syllabus is of Class 10, 12, and Graduation levels. RRB NTPC syllabus is the same for the first stage CBT and second stage CBT. However, the difficulty level varies for both stages. RRB NTPC syllabus is given below.

Coordinates with the Station Master regarding arrival and departure
Manages the condition of the train (Vehicle Guidance Report, cross-checking safety requirements of the train)
There is no fixed timing for work hence, this post requires high flexibility. Training is provided in your Zonal Training Institute

Senior Commercial cum Ticket Clerk

Manages junior clerks in the departments

Commercial Apprentice

The person is a mid-level multi-skilled supervisor
Has to maintain the balance between the field staff and people at the higher level of the bureaucracy
Training period- 2 years of training duty as Commercial Clerks, Goods clerks, Commercial Inspectors, Zonal/Divisional Headquarter Inspector, etc

Station Master

As the name suggests, the person is in charge of the station
The person is responsible for the smooth arrival/departure of the trains in a punctual manner
Has to make sure passengers are provided with all the basic amenities in the railway station
The person is the person of contact at the railway station
