- UCEED:The Undergraduate Common Entrance Examination for Design (UCEED) is conducted by IIT Bombay for admission to the BDes program. The UCEED exam is divided into two parts - A and B. As per the revised exam pattern of UCEED 2024, Part B will now include TWO questions; one on Drawing and the other on Design aptitude. The duration of Paper B will be 60 minutes. The question in Part-B will be displayed on the computer screen and the answer has to be written/drawn in the answer book provided by the invigilator only. Further, Part B will be evaluated only if the candidate qualifies Part A.
- CUET: CUET stands for Central University Entrance Test. It is an all-India level entrance exam conducted by NTA for admission in UG courses offered in all the participating institutions. The exam is conducted in a computer-based mode for two hours. Originally CUCET was conducted by UGC in paper-pencil-based mode.
- IIAD Entrance Exam: The Indian Institute of Art & Design Aptitude Test is a national level entrance exam conducted by th National Institute of Deisgn (NID) for admission to BDes and MDes courses offered by participating institutes. IIAD 2024 is also the most popular exam accepted by Design colleges in India. The written test has a time limit of two hours and thirty minutes, and it will assess a candidate's abilities in communication and visual and inventive design, innovative and creative expression, observation, and drawing. Candidates must appear in a studio simulation (for UG candidates) or a personal interview (for PG candidates) round after taking the written portion of the IIAD entrance exam.
