Rajasthan PTET 2025: Notification, Registration, Exam Dates and More

The PTET is a state-level teacher eligibility test conducted annually for aspirants interested in pursuing BEd from government colleges in Rajasthan to make a career as a Teacher in schools in Rajasthan, India. The PTET 2025 exam is conducted for two years of BEd and 4 years of Integrated BA BEd/BSc BEd. In 2024 the exam was conducted by VMOU, Kota; in 2023, it was conducted by Govind Guru Tribal University, Banswara (Rajasthan) India (GGTU Banswara).

The Rajasthan PTET admission process includes the following steps:

Step 1: Fill PTET application form

First, candidates must fill out the PTET application form 2025 from the official website of the exam. Candidates also need to pay the PTET application fee of INR 500 online mode.

Step 2: Download the PTET admit card

Next, candidates are supposed to download their PTET admit card 2025 from the official website as per the prescribed schedule. The admit card for the PTET exam contains important details such as exam date, time, test centre address, etc.

Step 3: Give the PTET exam

Candidates are supposed to appear for the PTET exam as per the date and time mentioned on the admit card. The PTET exam contains 200 objective questions of 600 marks. The duration of the exam is three hours.

Step 4: Check the PTET exam result

Candidates can check the PTET result 2025 on the official website of the exam. Candidates can check their results by using details such as name, mother’s name, roll number and date of birth.

Step 5: Appear for PTET counselling

Lastly, all qualifying candidates need to appear for the PTET counselling round. In PTET counselling, candidates are allotted seats in their respective courses as per the ranks obtained by them and available seats.

The criteria that candidates need to fulfill to meet Rajasthan PTET eligibility are:

• Candidates should clear graduation with a minimum of 50 percent marks to be eligible for B.Ed courses through PTET
• Candidates should clear class XII with a minimum of 50 percent marks to be eligible for Pre BA B.Ed/BSc B.Ed courses

The exam conducting body will start the PTET application process 2025 tentatively in March 2025. Candidates meeting the minimum eligibility criteria will be able to visit the official website and apply till the second week of April 2025. The Rajasthan PTET 2025 exam is expected to be conducted in June 2025.

PTET syllabus 2025 for 4-year BA BEd/BSc BEd and 2-year BEd courses was released by Guru Govind Tribal University, Banswara on the official website of the exam. PTET 2025 syllabus is designed for candidates to get admission in 4-year BA BEd/BSc BEd and 2-year BEd courses. PTET exam is a state-level exam, held once a year. PTET 2025 admit card is released on the official website of the exam. The PTET admit card is an important document to be carried to the exam centre. Candidates were required to download a colour print-out of the PTET admit card 2025. It is suggested to download two copies, as one copy is required to be submitted at the exam centre. The PTET exam centers are the designated venue where the PTET examination will be conducted. The exam centres are chosen by the exam conducting authority. From the following table, candidates can check the number of exam centers for the PTET examination.

The exam body VMOU, Kota will declare the Rajasthan PTET results 2025 tentatively in July 2025. The PTET 2025 results will be declared on its official website and candidates who appeared in the exam can check their qualification status. To check the qualification status of PTET, candidates must enter their login credentials -  roll number or application form number to download their scorecard.

The PTET cut-off marks are the minimum marks that candidates need to score to qualify for the exam. Candidates need to score equal to or more than the PTET cut-off marks to get qualified.

The PTET cut-off is determined based on various factors such as the number of applicants, shifts in which the exam is conducted, and the difficulty level of the exam. From the following table, candidates can check the previous year's cut-off marks of PTET. As per past year's analysis, candidates who have scored above 300 marks out of 600 are given due consideration in the exam.

The PTET counselling schedule for the 2025 session is yet to be released. All candidates who qualify according to the Rajasthan PTET result 2025 can participate in the PTET counselling process. Through the counselling, candidates will be given admission to BEd Colleges in Rajasthan based on the rank obtained in the PTET exam. Candidates can check the below space to learn about the PTET counselling process.

Step 1: Registration

Firstly, all qualifying candidates need to register on the official website. The fee for PTET registration is INR 5,000. For registration, candidates can follow the steps below:

• Log on to the official website of the exam
• Click on the link available for registration for counselling
• Fill all details in the registration form such as roll number, name, mother’s name and date of birth
• Select the payment option
• Click on Login

Step 2: Choice Filling

Next, candidates need to give their choices for the colleges in which they wish to secure admission. Candidates can select, delete and lock the choices before the last date.

Step 3: Seat Allotment

PTET seat allotment is done based on candidates’ choice-filling, merit, category, teaching subject, etc. Once the allotment is done candidates have to pay the remaining admission fee of INR 22,000.

Step 4: Upward Movement

In case, candidates are not satisfied with the college allotted to them, they can apply for the upward movement. Fresh seat allotment is done for such candidates.

The PTET college allotment list consists of the names of colleges allotted to candidates who have qualified in the exam. The list is released on the official website of the exam conducting body. After being allotted the college, candidates must confirm their admission by paying the requisite fee. If they fail to pay the fee within the stipulated time, their candidature might get canceled.

To check the PTET college allotment list 2025, aspirants must visit the official website and follow the steps mentioned below -

Step 1 - On the homepage click on the "College Allotment List" button
Step 2 - Enter the login credentials and enter submit.
Step 3 - The list of colleges will appear on the screen which will consist of details such as the candidate's name, Roll number, Category, College name, Course, and Seat number.
Step 4 - Once allotted to the college, aspirants will have to submit a fee of INR 22,000 to lock the college.

If aspirants are not allowed the college in the first round, they can wait for the 2nd and 3rd rounds.

Once aspirants get to know the allotment result, they will have to cross-check all the information such as their name, roll number, and date of birth, and ensure that it is correct. Candidates also get the opportunity to check their college allotment status by sеnding an SMS to 09414022111 in this format - 
PTET Roll Numbеr Datе of Birth. For instance, if the aspirant's roll numbеr is 123456 and datе of birth is 01/01/1990,  thе SMS would be PTET 123456 01011990.

What after the Rajasthan PTET Seat Allotmеnt Result 2025

Students who get allotted the college will have to follow the below-mentioned steps - 

Step 1 - PTET aspirants will have to report to their allotted college and get started with the admission process.

Step 2 - Aspirants who are not satisfied with the college can request a college upgrade and their names will be further added in the next round of the seat allotment.

Step 3 - If candidates are satisfied with the current college they need to pay the fee and lock their seat. The first step is to fill in the fee which is INR 22,000 to lock your seat.

Step 4 - Appear for the document verification process where they will have to verify all their original documents such as their Aadhar card, personal photo ID, and educational qualifications to ensure their authenticity. Please note that do not submit any original documents or handover them over to anyone. Once the DV process is completed collect all the documents.

Step 5 - Once the complete seat allotment process is done with, and there still are few seats remaining, waitlisted candidates may get a chance based on their merit. After the complete process, the classes will commence for 2 years of individual programs or 4 years of integrated programs.
