What is NEET SS 2025?
NEET SS or National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (Super Speciality Courses) is conducted by the National Board of Education for admission to various DM/ MCh and DNB courses. It is a qualifying-cum-ranking examination for admission to medical super-speciality courses. According to the Indian Medical Council Act, 2016, no other entrance test is valid for admission to these courses. The duration of the NEET SS exam will be 150 minutes or 2.5 hours. The first shift will be conducted from 9 AM to 11.30 AM, and the second shift will be conducted from 2 PM to 4.30 PM.

NEET SS 2025 Result & Scorecard
The result for NEET SS 2025 was released in PDF download format on the official website of NBE. The NEET SS result 2025 was displayed in two formats. One PDF contains the result data and cut off marks and the second one is the merit list of qualified candidates. The NEET SS result PDF contains the cut off marks and scorecard release date. On the other hand, the NEET SS merit list PDF has been released group-wise for all 13 super speciality groups. The merit list comprises roll number, application ID, total marks scored and merit position or rank of candidates who qualified the exam and will be called for the counselling.
The NEET SS result PDF states, “If any questions were found to be technically incorrect, all candidates were awarded full marks for those specific questions, regardless of whether they attempted them or not”.
The NBE NEET SS result 2025 will now be handed over to the MCC, DGHS and MoHFW, the bodies responsible for NEET SS counselling.

NEET SS 2025 Eligibility Criteria
The National Board of Examinations (NBE) has prescribed the eligibility criteria for NEET SS. Candidates who wish to apply for the entrance test are advised to go through the NEET SS eligibility criteria before filling the application. NBEMS announced the NEET SS 2025 eligibility in the NEET SS information bulletin.
- Candidate must possess a postgraduate degree (MD/MS/DNB/ Equivalent) from a recognised institution
- Candidates who will complete their postgraduate degree on or before January 31, 2026, will be eligible for NEET SS 2025

NEET SS 2025 For Foreign Nationals
Foreign nationals who wish to pursue a super-speciality course in India need to appear for the NEET SS 2025 examination and clear it. Such candidates do not need to be registered with the MCI/ SMC, provided he/ she is duly registered with the appropriate authority in his/ her own country.
On securing a seat through NEET SS, the MCI may grant temporary registration to these candidates for the duration of the postdoctoral course. This registration will be temporary and will be limited to the medical college/ institution to which he/she is admitted.
The authorities have further notified that the prior eligibility criteria for admission to DM/MCh/DrNB courses shall be as per the Post Graduate Medical Education Regulations, 2023. NBE has stated, "Foreign Nationals, including Overseas Citizens of India (OCI) cardholders, can appear in NEET-SS 2025 without registration with the National Medical Commission (NMC). The NMC may, on payment of the prescribed fee for registration, grant temporary registration for the duration of the Post Doctoral course limited to the medical college/institution to which he/she is admitted for the time being exclusively for pursuing postdoctoral studies."

The NEET SS counselling process is conducted by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) primarily in online mode. All the steps of the counselling process, including the registration, release of seat matrix, choice filling and locking, and release of the seat allotment result. Only the last and final round, which is the institute reporting, has to be done in offline mode. Herein candidates who have been allotted seats have to visit the institutes for document verification and complete the admission process by paying the requisite fee amount.
If you have spelt your name correctly in application form of NEET SS and it is still misspelled on admit card, you must contact office of NBE to get it corrected. That is why candidates are advised to check all details on NEET SS admit card carefully after download. To correct detail, candidates should email the exam conducting body immediately.
The NEET SS counselling is conducted by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) for the 100 per cent All India Quota (AIQ) seats of the M.Ch, DNB and DrNB courses. · Any edible item opened or packed, soft drinks, water bottle etc.
· Any other item which could be used for unfair means, for hiding communication devices like wireless/Bluetooth device, spy camera etc.
· In case candidates need to carry medicines or a medical equipments, they must carry supportive medical documents such as prescriptions or reports.
No. NBE doesn't send NEET SS admit card on email. Candidates have to download the admit card from the official website, nbe.edu.in. Candidates are informed through SMS/Email alerts and website notice regarding availability of the admit card on the official website. Candidates do have to affix firmly their the latest passport size photograph in the space provided on the admit card. The photograph should be coloured with white backround. To download NEET SS admit card, candidates need to enter login ID and password. There is no fee involved to download admit card multiple times.
