For ages, Dance has been seen as an expression of self. The relevance of Dance is too much, especially in a country like India where Dance is concerned with the deep-rooted culture and traditions. Based on origination, all the dance forms have been classified into three types- classical, contemporary, and folk dance.

• Freelance Choreography: One can choose to pursue this option after years of experience because it gradually depends on one's reputation in the market. An individual can choose to work with various people on a short-term basis and charge accordingly. They can take different projects from Dance Studios, Movies, or TV Advertisement teams at the same time.

Learning Choreography can be fun and exciting. You can start by selecting the dance form you wish to learn, and join a dance class for the same. WUDAT 2025 exam will be conducted on January 11-12, 2025. The exam will be conducted in an online mode.

Common University Entrance Test (CUET) result is released by National Testing Agency. CUET syllabus is divided into three sections viz., Languages, Domain Subject and General Test. It also depends on your workplace, for example, Choreographers working in the entertainment industry or films get paid more in comparison to the dancers having their academies or working somewhere else as a dance teacher.

No, it's not important to have a classical background. You might or might not have a classical background to make a career as a dancer. You can know classical, or only contemporary, or classical and contemporary both to start as a teacher. It hardly makes any difference.
