IIT JAM Response Sheet 2025 will be released by IIT Delhi in the second week of February, 2025, tentatively. As per the previous year trends it is expected that the JAM 2025 response sheet will be available to download at JOAPS portal within seven to eight days after the successful conduct of the IIT JAM 2025 exam. IIT JAM 2025 answer key will be released in the third week of February 2025, tentatively.

IIT JAM 2025 exam was conducted successfully on February 2, 2025, at around 112 exam centres across the nation. The IIT JAM 2025 overall exam difficulty level was found to be moderately easy in both the JAM 2025 shifts. IIT JAM 2025 online application process for counselling will start from April 2, 2025 onwards. IIT JAM 2025 Examination Centres

The JAM 2025 entrance exam is expected to be conducted across 103 cities that are divided into eight zones. There can be more than one IIT JAM exam centre in one city. The exact IIT JAM exam centre details were mentioned on the admit cards issued to candidates. Last year, the exam authorities announced two more exam cities, Port Blair and Haldwani.

There are around 3000 seats in postgraduate programmes at 21 IITs for the academic year 2025-25. JAM 2025 Scores will be used to admit the candidates subject to satisfying the ERs and MEQs and any other requirements, without any additional interview or written test. Result Sharing Institutes: JAM scores will be used for admission to over 2300 seats for postgraduate programmes such as MSc and MA at IISc and various NITs, IIEST Shibpur, SLIET, DIAT through Centralized Counselling for MSc / MSc (Tech.) Admission (CCMN).

IIT JAM Previous Year Question Paper

The exam authorities released the IIT JAM 2024 question papers a few days after the exam, along with the provisional answer keys. The IIT JAM question papers are released for each paper/subject in PDF format. Candidates can download the question paper of IIT JAM as per their preferred subject from the official website. Aspirants planning to take the test next year must solve the IIT JAM question papers of previous years to prepare well for the exam.

Admission to each course is provided on the basis of merit in the corresponding test paper of JAM 2025.

IIT JAM 2025 Pattern

IIT JAM 2025 exam pattern is anticipated to be the same as that of last year. It will be a computer-based test of three hours duration conducted in two slots. The total number of questions is 60 and the total marks is 100. There are three types of questions, which are Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs), Multiple Select Questions (MSQs), and Numerical Answer Type (NAT). IIT JAM 2025 Syllabus

IIT Delhi will release the syllabus for IIT JAM 2025 in the Information Brochure on the official website of IIT JAM 2025. Candidates can download PDFs of the IIT JAM syllabus for each subject from the official website of the exam. As compared to last year, the IIT JAM 2025 syllabus is expected to remain the same. The syllabus refers to the topics covered under each subject that are tested in the exam. The IIT JAM syllabus is of BSc level for the respective subjects. Check the detailed IIT JAM 2025 syllabus released by the exam authorities.

IIT JAM 2025 Application Form

The IIT JAM 2025 application process was started on September 3, 2024 onwards. The complete process will be online, right from the registration process till depositing the online fee for the examination. Candidates need to first visit the official website of the exam to complete the application process and pay the application fee in online mode. The exam authorities will also provide an application correction window.

IIT JAM 2025 Eligibility Criteria

IIT Delhi has stated the IIT JAM 2025 eligibility criteria which are given below:

In order to fulfil the IIT JAM 2025 eligibility criteria, candidates should hold a bachelor’s degree. Earlier, there was a CGPA cutoff, but this year onwards, candidates need to just pass the qualifying degree.
Candidates who have appeared or will appear for their graduation exams in 2025 are also eligible to apply, provided they submit the proof by September 2025.
For the admission process, candidates who pass the IIT JAM 2025 exam will be eligible to apply for the admission process.

Age Limit: There is no age limit to appear for IIT JAM 2025 exam.
