• The KCET 2025 exam dates have been announced for BE/BTech courses. As per the schedule, the KCET 2025 exam will be held on Apr 18 & 19, 2025.

Some institutes might also have a minimum and a maximum age limit. Some institutes might examine candidate's medical fitness which includes some features that need to be particularly observed like the constitution, skeletal system, ear nose throat, speech, lymphatic system, cardiovascular system, respiratory system digestive system, genitourinary system, skin, nervous system, eyesight and other tests.

Postgraduate	Aspirants must have graduate Marine Engineering at a bachelor's level from a recognised college. Candidates must have completed their graduation with BE/BTech in Mechanical/Marine Engineering from a recognized university and should have secured a minimum of 60% aggregate marks in their bachelor studies
Doctorate	Candidates must have completed MTech from recognised university with minimum 55% marks. Must have cleared Research Entrance Test for PhD scholars.

Admissions to Marine Engineering programmes at the UG and as well PG level is based on entrance exams. However, admissions to some institutes may also be based on merit. The selection process might vary from college to college. But typically, the selection process for admissions to Marine Engineering courses involves two steps:

• Admissions solely based on the aspirant’s entrance exam or/and
