The National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) conducts the RIE CEE to shortlist candidates for the 2 Year teaching programs B.Ed, B.Ed-M. Ed. at Regional Institutes of Education (RIEs) in Ajmer, Bhubaneswar, Bhopal, Mysore, and Shillong.

The RIE CEE 2025 Results for level 1 BSc BEd/ BA BEd/MSc.Ed will be declared tentatively in July 2025 at the official website of the exam. Yes, there is a provision for scholarships in the RIE CEE exam. As per the exam body NCERT, after the RIE CEE result is declared, the exam body will provide scholarships to SC and ST candidates and 50% to remaining candidates. Notably, the scholarships will be awarded only to those candidates who submit a copy of their parent's income certificate.

Registered candidates were required to visit the alloted exam centre on the day of the exam. RIE CEE entrance exam contains 80 questions of 160 marks. Candidates were supposed to complete the exam in a duration of two hours.

Ten percentage of seats for EWs will be provided to the eligible candidates over and above the existing permitted strength. The reservation of seats will be distributed to all the States and Union Territories according to the merit and availability of candidates.

Aggregate score in RIE CEE can be defined as follows:

• For B.Sc.B.Ed. And M.Sc.Ed.: Obtained marks of PCM or PCB out of
Maximum marks of PCM/PCB in qualifying examination.
• For B.A.B.Ed. Obtained total marks of qualifying examination out of
Maximum marks of qualifying examination.
• For B.Ed. obtained total marks of qualifying degree examination out of the
maximum marks of qualifying degree examination
• For B.Ed.M.Ed. (integrated) obtained total marks of qualifying
postgraduation examination out of the maximum marks of qualifying
postgraduation examination
• For M.Ed. obtained total marks of qualifying examination out of the
maximum marks of qualifying examination. If the qualifying examination is
B.Sc.Ed./B.Sc.B.Ed/B.A.Ed./B.A.B.Ed. Only the obtained total marks of
professional components out of the maximum marks in these components.

As mentioned in the official website of NCERT - The Government of India provides candidates belonging to certain categories reservation and they are admitted to seats reserved for them based on relaxed criteria. The following reservations are available - 

• SC 15%
• ST 7.5%
• OBC 27% (OBC candidates will have to attach a certificate from competent authority stating that they does not belong to Creamy Layer)
• PwD 5%
• EWS 10% 

Candidates applying under reservation quota will be considered only on basis of lists notified by Government of India and the category certificate/ PwD certificate in the format approved by GOI as well as issued by the competent authority.
