RPF SI Exam Day Guidelines 2024

The exam day guidelines for the RPF SI exam are given below:

Electronic gadgets such as mobile phones, Bluetooth, pen drives, laptops, calculators, wrist-watches or any other communication devices are not allowed inside the RPF SI exam centre
Candidates are not allowed to carry pens/pencils inside the exam centre
Candidates need to carry an RPF SI admit card to the exam centre. Without the admit card, candidates are not allowed to appear for the exam
Carry one photo-identity proof (both original and photocopy) along with the admit card
Candidates should reach the exam centre early to complete the verification process
No candidates are allowed to enter the exam hall once the exam begins
Candidates must bring one colour photograph along with the admit card

The RPF SI admit card is issued separately for different groups and stages- Computer Based Test (CBT), Physical Efficiency Test (PET) & Physical Measurement Test (PMT) and Document Verification.

RPF SI Exam Pattern 2024

The RPF SI exam pattern 2024 for CBT is such that it is divided into three sections Awareness, Arithmetic and General Intelligence & reasoning. Besides Hindi and English, the CBT will be conducted in regional languages. The exam pattern will carry a total of 120 questions of 200 marks. The duration of the test is 90 minutes. Candidates qualifying for the CBT are called for PET/PST. It is mandatory to clear the PET and it is qualifying in nature.

To ace the exam it is important to follow RPF SI Preparation Tips 2024. The tips and tricks to crack the RPF SI exam are given below:

RPF SI Answer Key 2024

The provisional RPF SI 2024 answer key will be released for Computer Based Test (CBT) a few days after the completion of the test. Along with the answer key, the window to raise objections and question papers will also be made available. Candidates can access RPF SI answer key through the login window. Objections against the answer key will be accepted online only within the specified deadline.

RPF SI Result 2024

The results of the RPF SI 2024 exam will be declared online separately for different groups, A, B, C, D, E, and F. The RPF SI result 2024 will be made available in PDF form and it will display the roll numbers of qualified candidates. To qualify the CBT, candidates need to secure the category-wise qualifying marks decided by the examination authority. The selection of candidates will be done completely on the basis of their merit.

RPF SI Cutoff 2024

The cut-off marks of the RPF SI exam will be released along with the scorecard separately for the Computer-Based Test (CBT) and final selection. To qualify the CBT, candidates need to secure the category-wise qualifying marks and overall RPF SI Cut off 2024. There are no qualifying marks for PET/PMT, however, it is mandatory to qualify it. The cutoff is released separately for male and female candidates.

RPF SI Vacancies 2024

The details regarding the vacancies were announced along with the notification. A total of 452 RPF SI vacancies were announced this year. In 2018, a total of 1,120 vacancies were announced for both male and female candidates. The vacancy break-up is given below.

RPF SI Application Form 2024

RPF SI application form 2024 was released on April 25, 2024. Candidates who met the eligibility criteria could apply for RPF SI 2024. Candidates were required to fill out only one RPF SI 2024 application form. The application fee for RPF SI was INR 500 for unreserved categories while it was INR 250 for reserved categories. The application form was released along with the RPF SI notification 2024.

RPF SI Selection Process

Filling the RPF SI Application Form

RPF SI application forms are required to be submitted online only through the official website. Candidates candidate need to submit only one application form. RPF SI application form is required to be filled in English only. The application fee is INR 500 for Unreserved categories while it is INR 250 for Reserved categories.

Declaration of RPF SI Result

RFI SI result is released online separately for different groups, A, B, C, D, E, & F. The result PDF is released in the form of a merit list. RPF SI result displays the roll numbers of qualified candidates. Based on the merit in CBT, candidates 10 times the number of vacancies are called for PET and PMT.

Appearing in PET, PMT & Document Verification

It is mandatory to pass the PET and it is qualifying in nature. Based on the performance of candidates in the CBT, PET & PMT, they are called for Document Verification.

Final Selection

The appointment to the post of RPF SI is subject to passing the requisite medical fitness test, final verification of educational and category certificates, verification of character and antecedents of candidates, and successful completion of initial training.

RPF SI Exam Centres

The examination authority releases the list of RPF SI test cities along with the notification. RFP SI exam centres are distributed division-wise under certain groups-A, B, C, D, E, F. Candidates applying to the railway zones under these groups, will be allotted exam centres coming under that particular region.

RPF SI Salary 2024

Selected candidates will be in level 6 of the 7th CPC with initial pay of INR 35,400. Besides, candidates are also entitled to various allowances as per the government rules. RPF SI salary for the per month is between INR 43,300 to 52,030 as per the 7th pay commission.
