BITS Pilani conducts the BITSAT exam for admission to undergraduate programs like Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.), Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm), and integrated Master’s courses in science and technology across the BITS campuses. Over the years, BITSAT has become popular not only for admission into the prestigious BITS campuses in Pilani, Goa, and Hyderabad, but also for the exam and merit-based selection process. The BITSAT exam is conducted in online mode, and around 1.5 lakh students apply for it every year. The authorities also offer direct admissions for board toppers who meet the required eligibility criteria.

BITS Campuses for BITSAT BE Admission

For BE, BPharm and MSc admissions, the students will be eligible for admission into the following BITS campuses.

The popularity of BITS even beats IITs and NITs among other prestigious institutes. BITSAT is often seen as the end goal and not an alternative to the national-level JEE Mains and Advanced exam. Shiksha recently conducted a poll on the most preferred colleges besides IITs and NITs. The poll results highlight BITS Pilani's reputation and tell us about the audience perception. Out of the 1.2k participants whose responses have been recorded, a soaring 51% candidates have marked BITS Pilani as their preferred college after IITs and NITs. BITS, Pilani, has an unbeatable reputation, and the reasons for this have been discussed in detail in the article- Why BITSAT Continues to Be Among India’s Most Preferred Private Engineering Exams?
