Given below is broad eligibility criteria for UG and PG Law courses at Law colleges in Pune for the reference of candidates:

  • UG level: Candidates are eligible to secure admission in UG Law courses if they have cleared Class 12 or its equivalent exam from a recognised board with not less than 45% aggregate
  • PG level: For admission in LLB (3 years) course, aspirants need to be graduates from a recognised university. Also, for admission in LLM course candidates need to possess an LLB or equivalent degree from a recognised university
  • PhD level: Candidate must have passed post-graduation in Law in regular study mode from a recognised university with a minimum of 55% aggregate
Q:   Can I get admission in Symbiosis Law School without entrance exam?
A: 

No,  It is mandatory to appear for SLAT (Symbiosis Law Admission Test) as a precondition for admission to SLS, Pune. ymbiosis International (Deemed University) conducts SLAT annually. The exam shall be held in computer-based test mode. The duration of the test is 60 minutes and there are 60 MCQs of 60 marks in the test. Based on the scores of SLAT, candidates are shortlisted by the SLS. The selected candidates have to then appear for Personal Interview (PI) and Written Ability Test (WAT). Further, based on the scores of SLAT, PI and WAT a merit list is drawn for admission in respective Symbiosis law schools.
