WBJEE 2026: Answer Key, Exam Date, Result, Counselling

Jadavpur University accepts WBJEE scores for admissions into the BTech courses. However, the 12^th standard qualifying exam eligibility criteria is minimum 60% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (45% for reserved category). The students should also have minimum 60% in Mathematics and a pass mark in English.

Yes, for admission into BTech courses offered by WBJEEB, candidates will have to attempt all sections, including Mathematics. For BPharm admissions, Mathematics can be opted out.

For WBJEE, candidates will have to study topics from Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. Level of WBJEE syllabus will be similar to 12th class qualifying exam.

Yes, there a self-financing institutes included in the WBJEE counselling process. In the self-financing institutes, the 10% approved seats will be open for JEE Main qualified candidates. These students do not require WBJEE scores for admission.

Some popular private colleges that will accept students based on their WBJEE scores are Heritage Institute of Technology, Techno India University, Haldia Institute of Technology, and more. WBJEE is conducted annually to select eligible students for admission. The students are allotted into the BTech and BPharm Government and Self-financing institutes of the state of West Bengal. While filling WBJEE application form, students will have to upload their photograph and signature. Documents have to be scanned and uploaded correctly. If required documents are not uploaded, then application form cannot be submitted.

While filling out WBJEE application form, candidates need to pay fee online i.e., through net banking/credit card/debit card. No other mode of payment will be accepted by authorities. WBJEE application fee is INR 500 for General Male Candidates), INR 400 (for general female and SC/ST/OBC-A/OBC-B/EWS/TFW Male Candidates) and INR 300 (for SC/ST/OBC-A/OBC-B/EWS/TFW female candidates and Third Gender General Candidates). WBJEE 2026 registration is now closed. The last date to apply for WBJEE 2026 exam was April 8, 2026.

WBJEE application form will not be available offline. Candidates will have to register online at wbjeeb.nic.in/wbjee to participate in WBJEE 2026 exam. Offline applications will not be accepted.

WBJEE 2026 exam is expected to be held in 47 cities within the state. Additionally, it is also held in Silchar, Assam and Agartala, Tripura.

No, the students will not be allowed to change their allotted WBJEE exam centre. Since the exam centre is allotted after checking the students' submitted preference, the authorities will not accept requests for the same. Students are advised to choose their preferences carefully.

WBJEE 2026 admit card has been released. Registered candidates can check and download WBJEE admit card online by logging in using required credentials.

To download WBJEE admit card, students will have to log in using their application form number and password. The hall ticket will not be available in any other mode. After admit card is released, students will have to print it as it will be needed at exam centre.
