Date-sheet for CBSE 2014 Board Exams out

Putting an end to students' anticipation, CBSE (Central Board of Secondary Education) has announced the date-sheet for class X and XII  board exams 2014. The board exams for both the classes would begin on the same day i.e. March 1, 2014. However, while the class X exams would end on March 19, the exams for class XII would only conclude by April 17, 2014.

Class X board exams 2014 would begin with subjects like Marathi, Spanish, Painting etc, on the other hand, keeping up with tradition, Class XII board exams will commence with English. There is no change in the exam time as Class X and XII board exams will start at 10:30 am with each exam being of three hours duration.

Many Class XII students from the science stream who have to sit for the JEE(Joint Entrance Examination) immediately after their board exam are worried about the short breaks they are getting between their main exams. The main exams are scheduled for March 5 (Physics), March 11 (Chemistry), March 15 (Biology), March 20 (Mathematics) and April 1 (accountancy). However, another cause of worry among majority of Class 12^th  students this year is that they will be sitting for the board exams for the very first time, this year, as a vast majority of them opted for school based exams in Class 10^th.
