ICAI Extends Application Date for CA Foundation Dec 2021 Exams

Candidares can submit ICAI CA Foundation exam application form for December 2021 cycle until August 12. Read details.

The ICAI has extended the deadline for application submission of ICAI CA Foundation Exam 2021 of December session. The last date to apply for ICAI CA Foundation Exams is August 16. A notice regarding the same has been published on the official website of the institute at icai.org.

“The students are required to send their Class 12 examination mark sheets to Additional Secretary, Examination Department (ICAI) latest by September 10, 2021. The above relaxation in the requirement of Regulation 25E & 25F shall be a one-time measure only,” states the official circular.

How to Apply for CA Foundation?

Candidates can register for Foundation course and apply on the ICAI exam website. Check below steps of ICAI CA application process:

• Click LOGIN/REGISTER on the main tab of the ICAI official websiteor https://icaiexam.icai.org/
• Click on 'New User Register here!' to register for ICAI exam as a fresh student
• Fill the details as required i.e. Examination, Date of Birth, valid E-mail ID, mobile number, etc.
• Click on confirmation/declaration and 'Register' button to complete ICAI Exam Registration
• Once ICAI registration is complete, proceed to fill the application form for your respective examination
• Authenticate using course+SRN+DOB and enter email and mobile number
• Login with the help of registration number and password
• Fill up the form and upload the necessary documents
• Make a payment of application fee (Rs 1,500) to complete the process

The ICAI CA Exams for Foundation, Intermediate and Final courses (May-June cycle) were conducted on July after delay due to COVID-19 pandemic. The candidates were given the option to ‘Opt Out’ of the exam and appear for the same in November cycle. Candidates who were infected with COVID-19 or had family member suffering from the infection, could opt out of the exam by uploading medical report on the ICAI website. Such candidates can appear for their course exam in November 2021 cycle.

CA results of Foundation, Intermediate and Final course exams held in July will be announced soon. Official ICAI CA result 2021 dates have not been announced yet.
