The Institute of Company Secretaries of India prescribes the ICSI CS Executive syllabus. Earlier, authorities released the revised ICSI CS Executive syllabus (under 2022). Candidates willing to apply for the switchover from old syllabus (under 2017) to new syllabus (2022) can apply online at icsi.edu. Candidates will be required to appear for the pre-examination test to become eligible to enroll for the ICSI CS Executive exam under new syllabus 2022. ICSI CS Dec 2024 enrollment has ended. A:

As per the ICSI CS Executive exam marking scheme, each question carries equal marks: each question in the CS Executive exam is assigned equal marks. The total marks for each paper may vary, depending on the number of questions and their individual weightage. There is no negative marking for incorrect answers. This means that candidates are not penalized for wrong answers. It is advisable to attempt all the questions and provide answers to the best of your knowledge. In some cases, partial marks may be awarded for partially correct answers. If a question has multiple parts and you answer some parts correctly while others are incorrect, you may receive partial marks for the correct portions. Candidates preparing for ICSI CS Executive exam must note that the marking scheme, guidelines, and instructions provided for each examination session.

ICSI CS Executive Syllabus: Switchover from Old Syllabus (Under 2017) to New Syllabus (Under 2022)

Registered candidates can apply for the switchover from old syllabus to new syllabus once the window is active. Candidates willing to appear for the CS Executive exam as per the new syllabus must check for the paper-wise exemption details here.

Q:   For how long will the old syllabus and pattern be applicable for CS executive?

A:

The last date of appearing for CS Executive examination under old syllabus is in June 2024. Candidates preparing for CS Executive exam will have to appear for the CS Exam as per new syllabus from December 2024. The first examination under CS Executive new syllabus 2023 will be held in December 2023. Candidates who have registered for CS Executive progarmme from February 01, 2023 onwards will have to appear as per the CS Executive new syllabus. Candidates can apply for switchover to new syllabus. Check the steps below to know how to apply for CS Executive new syllabus switchover:

Step 3- Now click on “New Foundation Student Login/Executive Student Login and enter the login credentials
