2. The examination will be conducted in remote proctored mode I.e.,
- Candidates must download the safe exam browser in their desktop or laptops as per the link that is provided.
- Candidates will be continuously monitored through the audio/video mode by the invigilator/supervisor (Proctor).
3. Candidates must keep the documents ready with them- Admit card, Student identity card issued by the Govt. Departments viz. Passport, Driving License, UID Aadhar card, PAN card or Voter ID card on the day of the examination for the verification process conducted by the invigilator. Only candidates whose identities will match will be allowed to appear for the examination. No other document will be permitted to be kept except the admit card and photo identity card.

Only candidates who will fill the ICSI CS application form along with the payment of the application fee will be able to know the alloted exam centre when the admit card is released.
4. Test takers must log in 40 minutes prior to the commencement of the examination. No candidates will be allowed to appear for the exam 30 minutes after the commencement of the examination and no candidate will be permitted to finish the exam until the expiry of 45 minutes of the commencement of the examination.
5. The question paper will consist of 50 multiple choice questions of two marks each. 45 minutes will be given for each paper.
6. The screen will display the question paper in both languages- Hindi and English except for Business Management, Ethics and Entrepreneurship paper.
7. Candidates will not be required to appear for the paper from which they have been exempted as shown on the admit card. In case of any discrepancy, it must be brought to the notice of the Directorate of Student Services of the Institute in writing at the support portal.

8. Every candidate must compulsorily appear for the paper/subject(s) they have enrolled for. In case any student remains absent due to any reason he/she shall be declared a failure. However, in case a candidate who has been granted exemption in any one subject i.e., Paper 1 or 2 (on the first day i.e., December 15, 2022) or Paper 3 or 4 (on the second day i.e., December 16, 2022) as the case may be, he/ she is required to answer only those questions in the relevant subject/paper in which he/she is enrolled.
9. Candidates will be required to score a minimum of 40% in each paper to qualify and 50% in aggregate of all papers put together. There will be no negative marking for any wrong answers.
10. Candidates will not be permitted to keep any electronic gadgets such as mobile phones, smartwatches, iPad, palmtops, pager any book, or handwritten materials with them during the examination.
11. On the second day of Examination i.e. December 16, 2022, for Examination relating to Business Economics (BE) (Paper 413) and Fundamentals of Accounting and Auditing (FAA) (Paper 414) the Candidates will be permitted to use an ordinary calculator (12 digits, 6 functions and 2 memories) and rough sheets (blank papers) for calculation purpose. In no case, a scientific calculator or calculator with more than 2 memory will be allowed. It will be mandatory for the Candidates to show the calculator and pages for rough work to remote proctor/invigilators.
12. In case of violation regarding the use of a calculator and rough sheet the candidature of the test taker will stand cancelled.
13. An illustrative list of ordinary calculators is also annexed to the “Instruction to Examinees”. In no case, the calculator should have more than 12 digits, 6 functions and 2 memories.
14. Candidates in any case must not adopt any unfair means such as talking, whispering, copying, referring to handwritten/printed material, or using electronic items.
15. Candidates’ eligibility to appear in the CS Foundation Programme Examination shall be subject to the provisions of the Company Secretaries Regulations, 1982 (as amended fromtime to time) as in force and the guidelines issued by the Council from time to time.
