CS Pre Examination Test: The Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) conducts CS Pre Examination Test for candidates seeking enrolment in CS Examination: CS Executive or CS Professional levels. This is exam that has to be taken compulsorily by the candidates before enrolling for the main examination. CS Pre examination test will be conducted for all students of Executive or Professional levels under New Syllabus 2022. CS Pre examination test serves as eligibility criteria. Q: Can I get the CS Executive exam centre changed?
ICSI CS Executive 2025 enrollment process will commence on February 26, 2025. Candidates while filling the enrollment form are advised to enter the details carefully. Enrollment form once submitted cannot be edited. However, authorities open the windows for enrollment services wherein candidates can edit the few details. Candidates will be given a chance to edit any details if required before the deadline. No seperate request for change in enrollemnt form will be entertain. No, there is no negative marking in CS Executive examination. CS Executive question paper will consist of description/subjective questions which will have no negative marking.
For objective type question, for every wrong answer 0.25 marks will be deducted and one mark will be given for every correct response.

To appear for the CS Pre-Examination test, candidates must read the test guidelines carefully. Refer to the points below to know the important guidelines for CS Pre Examination Test:
- Qualifying the CS Pre-Examination test will be mandatory for the both CS Executive and CS Professional levels.
- CS Pre Examination Test will be conducted in computer-based mode. Candidates will be able to take the PET from home or cyber café.
- To qualify CS Pre-Examination Test, candidates must score a minimum of 40%.
- Students may appear in Pre-Examination Test in any specific subject thrice (three times) in a day. However, there must be a gap of at least 8 Hrs. between any two successive attempts in that subject.
- A student shall have to qualify in all the subjects of the Module in which he wants to appear in an Examination Session.
- The result of the Test of a subject, in which a student has qualified will remain valid for future Examinations.
- Candidates who will not qualify for the CS Pre Examination Test will not be able to enroll for the CS Executive or CS Professional examination.
- After the switchover to New Syllabus (2022), the students shall only be allowed to enrol for the examinations in the new syllabus after passing the Pre-Exam Test.
- After the switchover, the student has to clear the pre-examination test for the subjects which are not exempted to be eligible to take the main examination.
