Mystory@Gopal Nagda: How I made my career – Challenges and successes

I belong to an economically backward family and lived in a remote area. Moreover, no one in my family is well educated, so it was a struggle to be what I am today.

Due to my circumstances I could not study in college. So I enrolled in to CA course and prepared for CPT exam. Since there was financial crunch at home, I decided to support myself by giving coaching to students of Class 10, 12 and B Com. I continued my studies with the help of money that I earned by giving tuitions. That’s how I completed B Com, M Com and CA Intermediate. Currently I am studying for CA Final and I am pretty confident that I will clear it.

On completing CA, I will become the first Chartered Accountant not only in my family but also in my community.

I may not have experienced college life, but my years in CA internship and articleship have benefitted me immensely and will benefit me professionally in future too. I am working as a tax consultant and want to make it big in life.
