All of us, while standing at the threshold of our college life, are packed with energy, enthusiasm and apprehension. After the hectic board exam schedule and results being declared, I finally took a sigh of relief when I managed to get through Delhi University’s (DU), Atma Ram Sanatan Dharma(ARSD) College. The batch of 2014-17 witnessed the sight of half renovated, half-dismantled and under-constructed buildings of ARSD. Initially, I was taken aback by the infrastructure of the college. But, gradually things got better and our college buildings were modified.

Later, we got extremely busy in attending lectures (although unwillingly). The one hour lectures were mostly teacher oriented as no one had any questions to ask. The canteen and Satya's Corner were my rescuers in those times. Both these places were always abuzz with students.

Entangled in all these, the three years of my life passed like a movie scene. I saw freshers coming to the college to fulfill their dreams and aspirations and during this journey, some of these people created a space for themselves in my life. While some became the closest friends, some bonds broken too easily.

It is said that we make memories but I guess it’s the other way round for me – ‘Memories have made us’. Entering ARSD as an undergraduate student, I am about to become a graduate. This has instilled in me an increased sense of responsibility and a clearer vision. The sweet and sour moments and the ups and downs in college has made a more sensible and a strong human being.

‘Thanks’ would be an understatement to express my gratitude and feelings for all that I have received from my alma mater in all these years. But ARSD and its faculty has certainly given me the best three years of our life.
