Step 1: The rough scribbles

Step 2: Head scribble expressions

After reviewing the scribbles made in the first step , the next step involves detailing the head of some of these scribbles that were made earlier.

Step 3: Head Tweaking

Based on shortlisting out of these, some of the heads would be tweaked to add more detail.

Step 4: Head final touch

Now the final head is selected and final touches are given to the same.

Step 5: Basic shapes

Basic shapes of the complete body including skeleton are now created. Doing this gives the profile a proper meaning.

Step 6: Model sheet

After creating basic shapes of the body, the character model sheet is made.

Step 7: Panel

Now, the panel needs to be created which is based on our comic prototype.

Step 8: Rough thumbnails

Now rough storyboard is made keeping in mind camera angles and shot distance as described in the screenplay.

Step 9: Final clean up

Now the cleanup of the storyboard is done to give it a proper shape and the storytelling reviewed.

Step 10: The final touch

The last step involves final coloring (ink and paint). All the colouring and painting gives the final output i.e. the comic!
