Madhan Karky Vairamuthu

Madhan Karky Vairamuthu, an acclaimed Anna University alumnus, is an Indian lyricist, screenwriter, collaborator in research, software engineer, and entrepreneur.  Madhan Karky is a software engineer, songwriter, and writer of movie dialogue with a doctorate in information technology. He has written dialogue for many films as well as lyrics for many songs in the South Indian film industry. Madhan Karky, who was born in 1980, graduated from the College of Engineering in Guindy, Anna University, with a bachelor's degree in computer science. He continued his education at the University of Queensland in Australia, where he earned a PhD and a Master's.

He debuted as a songwriter in the 2010 film Enthrian with the song "Irumbile Oru Irudhaiyam." Although he has been a part of many films, Bahubali is his most well-known collaboration. He devised the novel language Kiliki for the Kalakeya tribes in the film and wrote the script for it.

Akkineni Nagarjuna Rao

Akkineni Nagarjuna Rao, a well-known alumnus of Anna University known only by his stage name Nagarjuna, is an Indian actor, film producer, television host, and businessman. Nagarjuna has appeared in over a hundred films, mostly in the Telugu language but also in several Hindi and Tamil productions. He participated in several films, including Majnu, Sankeertana, Aakhari Poratam, Geetanjali, Killer, and Criminal. Nagarjuna has received numerous honors for his outstanding performance in the area. Along with numerous other honours, these include 2 National Film Awards, 9 Nandi Awards, 3 Filmfare (South) Awards, 1 IIFA (South), and 1 South Indian International Movie Award.

Ravichandran Ashwin

Famous alumni from Anna University include Ravichandran Ashwin. He now competes for India in international cricket. He played for both Rajasthan Royals and Tamil Nadu in the Indian Premier League as an all-rounder who bats right-handed and bowls right-arm off-ruin.

Anaka Alankamony

Anaka Alankamony plays squash for India. She received the Rotary Club of Madras Northwest's Young Achiever Award. In Korea in 2008, she won the title of Asian Junior Squash Individual Champion. At the 2010 Asian Games in Guangzhou, Anaka won a bronze medal for the team; at the 2014 Asian Games in Incheon, the team won a silver medal.

   In 2010, she achieved a career-high international rating of 59, and in 2014, she won the prestigious Arjuna Award. 

Angara Ganesan Ramakrishnan

Angara Ganesan Ramakrishnan, a distinguished alumnus of Anna University, is currently the head of the Medical Intelligence and Language Engineering Lab at the Indian Institute of Science in Bangalore, India. He is a senior professor of electrical engineering. 

Sundaram Karivardhan Naidu

Sundaram Karivardhan Naidu, well known as Kari, was a dressmaker, business executive, and formula racing driver from India. He is regarded as one of India's motorsports innovators. 

Verghese Kurien

One of the most famous and illustrious individuals in the history of the country is an engineer by trade Verghese Kurien. He is regarded as the Father of the White Revolution in India, where his birthday, November 26, is commemorated as National Milk Day. He finished high school in Coimbatore before continuing his studies in physics at Loyola College in Madras. In 1943, he graduated from Guindy's College of Engineering with a degree in mechanical engineering. The Guindy College of Engineering is currently incorporated into Anna University.

His most well-known accomplishment is The White Revolution, which brought about a major change in the nation's milk production. His efforts helped India, which was experiencing a milk scarcity, become the top milk producer in the world. Over the 30 years of the White Revolution, milk output in India increased fourfold, while milk availability per person increased by twofold.

Verghese Kuries has received various awards for his noteworthy accomplishments. The Padma Vibhushan, Ramon Magsaysay Award, Krishi Ratna, World Food Prize, Wateler Peace Prize, and Order of Agricultural Merit are a few of the awards bestowed upon him.

Placements:

The Anna University 2023 Placement Report is not made public. In all, 2,000 students were placed in 2022 during the placements at Anna University. The top and average packages for the Anna University placements in 2022 were INR 36.50 LPA and INR 6.93 LPA, respectively. Additionally, during their internships at Anna University in 2022, 27% of the entire class received stipends ranging from INR 50,000 to INR 1,000,000.

Anna University has continuously achieved successful placements over the years. The institution has just ended its hiring process for positions beginning in 2022. Students received a total of 1700 placement offers. The average compensation of INR 7 LPA was obtained, a 16.7% rise over the previous year. 36 LPA or INR was the highest wage. The Anna University Placements 2022 attracted 142 recruiters.

There were many notable hires, including those from Cisco, DE Shaw, Ola, Samsung, Tiger Analytics, and Reliance. During Anna University Placements 2021, 1797 students found jobs. Students made an average of INR 6 LPA. The placement drive for 2021 included 120 recruiters.
