Sanghamitra B.Ed College is located in Chuttupalu with its head office at Bariatu Road, Ranchi.

Sanghamitra B.Ed College is a Buddhist minority institution established under the parasol of the World Buddha Foundation. The College is located in Rishipattanam (Manatu) in Chuttupalu, Ranchi and is affiliated with Ranchi University. It has all the recognitions and approvals under its name such as NCTE, Govt. of Jharkhand and Government of India. The college was founded by Buddhist priests and has always been focused to uplift the minor sections of society till then. Sanghamitra B.Ed College is one of the best co-educational B.Ed institutions in Jharkhand and it offers a two-year regular B.Ed course.

The World Buddha Foundation is a world-level trust that works toward the upliftment of the minority sections of society. The foundation encourages and supports the growth and education of the weaker sections of the society, which includes the Buddhist minority sections of the society, the Scheduled castes, Scheduled Tribes other backward classes, people with disabilities or widows etc. The college is located in Chuttupalu with its head office at Bariatu Road, Ranchi. The distance between the two is quite far. One of them is more likely in the city area while the other is in the outskirts of the city. 

Sanghamitra B.Ed College, Chuttupalu

Located at a height of 3000 ft. above sea level in Rishipattanam (Manatu), the college experiences a cool climate all around the year. It is surrounded by huge lush green trees on all sides, which help students to focus more on their studies. The college has a two-storey main building along with other six rooms for the teacher training department. It also has a huge auditorium for seminars and functions. The other half of the campus is for the school building and hostel, which is also run by the World Buddha Foundation. There is a massive playground in front of the hostel. The whole campus is surrounded by natural vegetation, however, to enhance the beauty of the campus, gardeners have planted some beautiful flowers. During the Van Mahotsav celebration in the college, a lot of new varieties of trees were also planted. The Principal’s office and the library are situated on the same campus. 

Buddhist Mission Campus, Bariatu Road

The office is situated in the Buddist Mission Campus, Bariatu. The Principals office is in the college, however, all the admission and registration-related work are done here. The financial department is on this campus. Any official work related to finance or any other decision is taken on this campus. Since it is located in a city area, it is referred to as the City Office. It would be difficult for both teachers and students to commute so far for any kind of official work at Chuttuplu since most of the students who take admission at this college are from Ranchi. Therefore, this office is set up to give any kind of assistance to the students and only classes are preferred on the college campus. All procedures related to admissions are done in City Office. The trustees of the Buddhist mission as well as the managing committee have their offices here.

There are no other constituent colleges of Sanghamitra B.Ed College, Chuttupalu. However, there are many schools such as Siddharth Public School, Central Academy and Nursing Colleges like Sanghamitra Nursing College that run under the World Buddha Foundation.
