CBSE Class 10 Toppers 2018 - Check Names, Ranks, Marks & Schools
CBSE Class 10 results were declared on May 29, 2018. The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) had shared that it would declared the Class 10 board exam results at around 4 pm but the results were declared around 1:20 pm. The overall pass percentage in CBSE Class 10 board exams is 86.70% which has dipped by 4.25% with respect to that of 2017. Girls have outperformed boys by 3.35%, this year. The pass percentage of girls has been recorded at 88.67% whereas the pass percentage of boys is 85.32%.
Within the regions, Thiruvananthapuram has the highest pass percentage of 99.60%, followed by Chennai with a pass percentage of 97.37%. The third spot has been grabbed by Ajmer with a pass percentage of 91.86%. Delhi has a pass percentage of 78.62%.

The Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya (JNV) schools have performed the best in Class 10 board exams with a pass percentage of 97.31%. They are followed by Kendriya Vidyalayas with 95.96% and the third spot has been filled by private schools with 89.49%.
A total of 92.55% students who gave the exam from differently abled category cleared the Class 10 board exams. Performance of candidates in foreign schools affiliated to CBSE is such that their pass percentage is 98.32% in class 10 board exams.
Due to misprinting in the Class 10 paper for English all students who appeared for the exam were given 2 marks extra. As per CBSE Class 10 results, a total of 1,31,493 students have secured more than 90% and 27,476 candidates have scored more than 95%. Apart from these students, 11.45% students have gotten a compartment in the board exams conducted by CBSE.

CBSE Class 10 board exams were conducted after a gap of seven years. The board exams for Class 10 were held from March 5 to April 4, 2018. A total of 16,38,420 candidates registered for the Class 10 exam which were conducted at 4,453 centres across India and 78 centres abroad.
CBSE Class 12 results 2018 were declared on May 26. The topper of CBSE Class 12 exam was Meghana Srivastava from Step by Step School, Noida. With a score of 499/500.
