Know CBSE Topper 2018 for Class 12th
CBSE Class 12 results were declared by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) on May 26, 2018. This year girls have outperformed boys in CBSE Class 12 board exams. The pass percentage of girl students is 88.31% whereas that of boys is 78.99%. As per CBSE Class 12 results, the overall pass percentage of the board exams conducted in 2018 is 83.01% which is one percentage more than the pass percentage of last year. Trivandrum has the highest pass percentage of 97.32%. After Trivandrum, the second highest pass percentage of 93.87% is recorded at Chennai followed by Delhi at 89%.
This year, the topper’s podium is secured by girls. The CBSE topper for Class 12 is Meghana Srivastava from Step by Step School, Noida. She scored 499/500 marks to become the CBSE topper. Her subject-wise scores are English core-99, History-100, Geography-100, Psychology-100 and Economics-100.
Meghana is closely followed by Anoushka Chandra of SAJ School who scored 498/500. Her subject-wise scores in CBSE Class 12 board exams are English core-98, History-100, Political Science-100, Economics-100 and Psychology-100. The third rank has been grabbed by seven students.
Among the top three ranks in CBSE Class 12 board exams, there are 7 girls and 2 boys.

It has been shared that a total of 28 lakh students registered for CBSE board exams 2018. The board shared that more than 16,38,420 students registered for CBSE Class 10 board examination whereas around 11,86,306 aspirants registered for CBSE Class 12 exams. Out of the number of students who appeared for CBSE Class 12 board exams, 6,90,407 were boys and 4,95,899 were girls. The board exams for Class 12 students were conducted at around 4,138 centres in India along with another 71 test centres outside the country.
Sources now share that CBSE Class 10 results are likely to be declared on May 28 or May 29, 2018.
