The newly launched mathematics workbook can be accessed by the students through the CBSE’s official website, cbse.nic.in, and through the DIKSHA platform.
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), on October 7, 2020, launched a practical workbook for mathematics to aid students of Classes 7 to 10 during the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. The newly launched mathematics workbook can be accessed by the students through the CBSE’s official website, cbse.nic.in, and through the DIKSHA platform. The Ministry of Education launched the DIKSHA Portal as an online platform to provide relevant learning material to students and teachers.
Education minister Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank’ said: “CBSE, under the guidance of the Ministry of Education, has launched an exploratory mathematics practice book for learners. Students of classes 7th-10th can access the book for fun-filled, exciting learning at CBSE.” According to the recently launched Unlock 5 guidelines released by the Ministry of Home Affairs, the states are allowed to take a decision on reopening schools from October 15. The Ministry of Education also released guidelines on the precautions that are required to be taken by the states that choose to reopen. However, the ministry also stated that online education will be a part of the process.
Meanwhile, The Central Board of Secondary Examination (CBSE) decided to allow re-evaluation and verification of marks for the supplementary or compartment exams held for CBSE 10th and CBSE 12th board exams of subjects for which the Board conducted exams. Students not satisfied with their CBSE 10th, 12th compartment results will have to apply for re-evaluation on the official website of CBSE, i.e. cbse.nic.in. Students must note that the application process for verification of marks will be open from the third day from the date of declaration of the compartment result to the fourth day from the date of declaration of result.
