CBSE Results 2020: CBSE to hold compartment exams online; check details here

CBSE has asked schools to conduct compartment exams this year. Check details below.

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has directed all the schools across the country to conduct the compartment exams for students who have failed in classes 9^th and 11^th in online and creative mode. This will be the first time when CBSE will be holding the compartment exam online. The move comes looking at the current coronavirus situation in the country and considering the safety of the students.

The circular read “ Schools can conduct online/offline/innovative tests and may decide promoting the students on the basis of the test conducted.”

On May 13, 2020, the CBSE has issued a notification which stated that the students of classes 9 and 11, who failed in some subjects, will be provided one more chance to clear the same. It was reiterated that this exemption is to be extended to all students, even to all those who were given the opportunity earlier.

More than 4,500 students of Classes 9 and 11 of government schools, affiliated to CBSE, in Chandigarh have got compartment.

Meanwhile, CBSE cancelled all the pending examinations of CBSE 10th and CBSE 12th. According to the official notice released by the Board, CBSE 10th results 2020 and CBSE 12th results 2020 are expected to be released by July 15. Students have been waiting eagerly for CBSE Class 10 Results 2020 and CBSE Class 12 Results 2020. The board results will be released on the official site of CBSE i.e. cbse.nic.in. The CBSE Board Exams 2020 was cancelled after Supreme Court received a plea from a group of parents to scrap the exam. Later. Supreme Court asked CBSE to consider. On which, CBSE later cancelled CBSE 10th exam and gave an option to CBSE 12th students to appear later whenever the situation is better or get marked on the basis of internal assessment.
