Coronavirus: Directorate of Technical Education Goa cancels classes till March 31

On account of the coronavirus pandemic, the Directorate of Technical Education Goa has ordered all recognised institutes to suspend classes till March 31. However, all examinations will take place according to the prevailing schedule. According to the government decision, regular classes in educational institutions under the jurisdiction of Directorate of Technical Education are postponed from March 16 to March 31 as part of a preventive measure to tackle the threat of coronavirus pandemic. It further informed that scheduled examinations would not be cancelled and would be conducted according to the schedule. The state government has already informed that all schools will remain closed till March 31 and the examination of all classes will be conducted as per the schedule. According to the ministry of family and health welfare, the total number of confirmed coronavirus cases across India reached a tally of 107 on Sunday. The disease basically originated in China’s Wuhan city in December last year. So far, it has spread to more than 100 countries, infecting more than 1,30,000 people. The World Health Organisation has already declared coronavirus a pandemic.

In the whole country, there is a panic among people regarding the symptoms of the deadly disease. The cure of coronavirus is yet to be found. This is one of the reasons people all over the world are terrified by this disease.
