Amid the rising cases of coronavirus pandemic, all sectors in the countries have witnessed interference except for the online education platforms which have seen a boost. Students are trying online learning platforms at a time when all educational institutes are ensuring social distance by closing their premises. A number of EdTech platforms have unveiled free classes that have encouraged the students to look outside traditional teaching and try their hands on online learning. Deepam Raj, business development manager of a famous Ed-tech firm, is utilising this time by refurbishing the entire education system. He says that students, parents and teachers would now realise the significance of online learning. In a vital time like this, digital learning has mushroomed as a substitute solution for offering education to students at home.

He hopes to grow the number of enrolments in the next academic year by 50 per cent. The consciousness created now would help in endorsing the feasibility of online learning platforms. For the students of Class 10 and 12 who are appearing for the board exams 2020, Ed-tech firm has launched ‘Learn Live Online’ campaign for offering free access to online learning. The students will be able to access the study material that is offered free of cost for the first 25 days. After this, they would have to pay for the service to further receive it. The platform is also providing teachers a chance to work from home.

Another EdTech platform has also started the ‘Go To School’ campaign that will offer free services until April 30. The scheme is also to help teachers from these schools to allot homework to students.
