AMU in its latest press release stated that students can opt for online internships and work remotely i.e. from home or hostels.
Amid the uncertainties and economic crisis prevailing in the country due to the outbreak of the novel coronavirus, Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) is out on a mission to help its students. According to the latest reports, AMU is helping students get summer internships. Despite the social distancing norms directed by the government, the university is leaving no stone unturned to prevent the academic loss of its students.
Summer internships bring lots of learning opportunities for students. Unfortunately, this year, students will not be able to learn and explore the working culture of corporates and brands due to the outbreak of the deadly virus COVID-19. With suspended classes, closed campuses, and postponed examinations, opportunities for summer internships are also negligible.
However, AMU in its latest press release stated that students can opt for online internships and work remotely i.e. from home or hostels. The idea is no less than one of the best ways of utilizing the lockdown period. The University in the official statement shared details of a company that is looking for interns for domains such as ‘Content Writing, Graphic Designing and Animation, Digital Marketing, and Operations (preferably-B Tech and MBA-Operations)’.
The statement further added that interested and eligible students can contact the University’s training and placement officer, Mr. Saad Hameed. The applicants have to share their updated CV/Resume to the email ID mentioned in the press release along with the job title they are applying for. Mentioning the duration of availability for the internship or freelancing is also mandatory.
