Human Resource and Development Minister, Dr Ramesh Pokhriyal “Nishank” is all set to conduct a second round of his live session on Twitter and Facebook.

Human Resource and Development Minister, Dr Ramesh Pokhriyal “Nishank” is all set to conduct a second round of his live session on Twitter and Facebook on May 5 at 12 noon. Nationwide lockdown imposed to contain the deadly virus COVID-19 led to the closure of academic institutions, suspension of classes, postponement of exams and delay in results. Educational institutions are not able to begin the new academic sessions and students don’t have results to apply for college admissions.

The on-going lockdown is creating a lot of confusion, stress and anxiety among students. In order to address the queries of the students, Union Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank announced to hold a live interaction. On his personal Twitter handle, the minister asked students to share their queries related to education, exams or mental health during the coronavirus lockdown.

According to the tweet posted by the education minister, Mr Pokhriyal will be holding a webinar soon. The minister asked students to start sharing their queries over tweets with the hashtag – #EducationMinisterGoesLive. While announcing the live session, the minister wrote, “Students, I will be going live soon to interact with you, answer your queries related to #COVID19's impact on your education, and much more. You can share your questions with me using #EducationMinisterGoesLive

Stay tuned for more details!”

Earlier, the minister held a webinar for parents on April 27. The live session got a great response from parents, teachers and students. During the discussion, the HRD minister answered various questions related to the postponed board exams including CBSE, new academic sessions, alternative academic calendar, delayed entrance exams and more.
