The Haryana government has decided to teach the students of class 1 to class 12 through various e-learning platforms.
To avoid any academic loss, the Haryana government has decided to adopt various e-learning methods, to help students of class 1 to 12 study from home during the coronavirus lockdown period.
The state education department has also launched a website www.haryanaedusat.com to help students to study at home.
"Until schools re-open, students with the help of their parents and teachers should continue their studies through online mode. Teachers are also requested to help students with their queries through phone, WhatsApp, e-mail, and other virtual methods," said Kanwar Pal, Haryana Education Minister.
To keep track of students' daily learning and process, a testing platform has also been created on the website. Students can also access to various other links like DIKSHA and ChalkLit of the education department through the same website, he said.
Generally, the new academic session starts from April 1 every year. However, given the emergency situation in the country, it could not be done this year.
A general time table to be followed by the students will be uploaded on the website. The teachers will conduct the online classes for the students daily from 9:30 a.m to 12:30 p.m via phone and WhatsApp, the minister added.
