The report regarding the declaration of the Kendriya vidyalayas annual result 2020 through email and WhatsApp has been confirmed by an official.

Kendriya Vidyalayas of the national capital will be releasing the annual examination results of the year 2020 through email and WhatsApp in view of the coronavirus outbreak. In a statement regarding the release of the result, a senior Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) official stated, that the parents will be informed and shared the result of their children through email and WhatsApp. In case the parents have any queries or discussions, they can do the same with the respective teachers over the call or as when the school opens.

The decision has been taken due to the outbreak of the epidemic Coronavirus/COVID-19. The disease has been declared as a Pandemic by the World Health Organisation (WHO). The Kendriya vidyalayas in Delhi have been shut till March 31, 2020, in the view of coronavirus spread. The shutdown took place when the state government announced the closure of all the academic institutions, multiplexes, sports complexes, colleges, universities, and other events that attract gathering.

 Offices have started giving work-from-home facilities to their employees. Many Universities have asked their students to vacate hostels and go home. However, the Board examinations are being conducted as scheduled during which strict precautionary is being taken. The decision of sending results over emails and WhatsApp has also been taken to avoid the gathering the takes place during the parent-teacher meeting. The coronavirus cases in India has risen to 129. The rapidly spreading disease has claimed 3 lives so far.
