The eligibility for admission to BTech at the Arya Institute of Engineering and Technology is 45% marks in Physics, Mathematics and an optional subject in class 12.

The Arya Institute of Engineering and Technology offers students three major courses – BTech with specialisation in Computer Science and Engineering, Artificial Intelligence and Data Science, Information Technology, Electrical Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering, MTech with specialisation in Computer Science and Engineering and MBA.

For Admission to BTech

  • Interested students can enrol through REAP counselling. The institution has a 70% reservation for students enrolling through REAP (REAP Code 11). 
  • The Arya Institute of Engineering and Technology also accepts JEE Main scores for entrance. There is a 15% reservation for students enrolling with JEE Main scores.
  • The rest of the admission quota is for students enrolling directly. The eligibility for BTech is 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates, who belong to SC/ST/Non-creamy layer OBC/ Non-creamy layer SBC of the state of Rajasthan) in Physics, Mathematics and an optional subject in class 12. The subject combinations required for admission to the BTech course in the qualifying examination are as follows:

Compulsory Subjects: Physics & Mathematics

Optional Subjects (anyone):

  1. Chemistry
  2. Bio-technology
  3. Computer Science
  4. Biology

For Admission to MTech

  • The institution accepts GATE as an entrance examination for enrolment in the MTech course. The institution has a 15% reservation for students enrolling through GATE.
  • Students can also enrol through REAP counselling. The college has reserved 70% of seats for students enrolling through REAP (REAP Code 11).
  • The rest of the seats are reserved for students enrolling directly. The candidate must hold a BTech degree or its equivalent from a recognised university, with at least 50% aggregate marks (45% for SC/ST and OBC candidates).  

For Admission to MBA

  • MAT, XAT, GMAT, CAT, CMAT and ATMA scores are accepted for enrolling in the Master of Business Administration course.
  • Candidates can also enrol through REAP counselling. 
  • For students enrolling in the course directly, a graduate (10+2+3) degree or equivalent from any recognised university with at least 50% marks in aggregate (45% in case of SC/ST and OBC candidates) is required.

Personal Interview

  • The final step in getting an admission into the college is appearing for group discussion and personal interview rounds. 
  • The college faculty, including HoDs of various departments, the principal and professors, sit down to interview the aspirant.
  • The faculty interviews the candidate with various questions. The common questions asked are  “What can you tell me about yourself?” or “Why do you want to attend this school?” Some of the questions may pertain to your course, your academic strengths and weaknesses, or how you envision yourself five or ten years from now.
  • They might also ask in detail about your hobbies or your experiences. The interviewer may also ask questions regarding your personality and other goals other than your career.

REAP

Every year, the Rajasthan Technical University (RTU), Kota organises the REAP or Rajasthan Engineering Admission Process, a state-level admission procedure. REAP admits students to BTech/B.E/B.Arch UG programs. Candidates are admitted based on their JEE Main/ NATA or class 12 results.

Eligibility Criteria for REAP

  • The appearing candidate should be a resident of India.
  • The candidate must carry a domicile of Rajasthan to apply for the state quota seats.
  • Candidates who were born on or after October 1, 1995, are eligible to apply. There is a five years of age relaxation for SC, ST and PWD candidates.

  • The application fee is INR 700. The fee can be submitted online.
  • In any case, the application fee is neither refundable nor transferable.

Admission Process:

Admissions are based on the following criteria:

  • The list of combined merits
  • The order in which the candidates fill out the options in the form and
  • Seats available in the respective institutions.

REAP 2022 Counselling:

  • The counselling takes place in three stages. One round is designated as a special round (spot round).
  • Candidates from outside the state of Rajasthan are assigned seats in the first round of selection.
  • Rajasthan candidates are assigned seats in the second round of selection.
  • To participate in the counselling, candidates must submit the option form.
