Haryana students to get extra marks for nurturing saplings
As part of ‘Oxy Van (Oxygen Forest)’ initiative, Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar has announced a new policy wherein additional marks will be awarded to Class 8 to 12 students who plant and nurture saplings. The new policy will be applicable to all schools that come under the Haryana Board of School Education.
The Chief Minister announced this after inaugurating a Panchkarma Wellness Centre at Nature Camp, Thapli, and Nature Trails, Morni Hills, Panchkula. He said the modalities for making the provision will be finalised soon.
Club to train local youth in paragliding
He said a club will also be formed for the youth from the neighbouring areas wherein they will be given training in paragliding. The club will be named after legendary athlete Milkha Singh, who recently passed away due to Covid-related complications.
A tourism information centre and Yatri Niwas will be set up in Panchkula and five buses will be deployed for tourists for ‘Panchkula Darshan’.
Eleven nature trails have been developed by the forest department in Morni Hills under the Panchkula integrated development project. The local youths will act as guides and explain to the tourists about local culture and traditions and also about the flora and fauna of the area.
The Board of School Education Haryana, or BSEH, released the HBSE 2021 result on June 11 on its official website. The students can check the BSE Haryana 10th result 2021 on the official website of BSEH -- bseh.org.in.
