Hurry! Last date to apply for GPAT is Jan 7, 2014

Candidates planning to sit for the Graduation Pharmacy Aptitude Test (GPAT) next year need to apply for the exam latest by  January 7, 2014. Conducted by the AICTE (All India Council of Technical Education), GPAT is scheduled to be conducted from February 25-27, 2014.

GPAT, an online exam, is undertaken by aspirants who want to gain admission to postgraduate pharmacy programmes (M.Pharm) approved by AICTE. The exam is held in 57 cities across the country.

GPAT scores are valid for a year and any candidate who cracks the exam and thereafter joins a government recognized Pharmacy college is awarded a scholarship of Rs.8000 every month for two years. Also, many Pharma companies consider GPAT rank as a special requirement for jobs and projects.
