The link to the application form for the programme is available on the official website of CBSE. In order to become a part of the second phase of training and mentoring programme, Principals/ Vice-Principals/ School Heads of Secondary and Senior Secondary Schools affiliated to CBSE may apply in the prescribed form.

IIMs and CBSE are all set to conduct the second phase of training and mentoring of principals and vice-principals of CBSE affiliated schools in the month of April-May. India’s three

premier Indian Institutes of Management (IIM) will impart training during the session. IIM Ranchi, IIM Amritsar, and IIM Sambalpur will impart training in academic leadership skills to heads and principals of the schools affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). The authorities first announced the IIM-CBSE training programme in December 2019.

According to an official notification released by CBSE, the trainers and experts have planned to cover areas like team building, leadership challenges for education in 21st century, pedagogical perspectives, building high-performance culture, time and stress management, competency-based education, and more topics like these during these programmes.

The notification also reads that the link to the application form for the programme is available on the official website of CBSE. In order to become a part of the second phase of training and mentoring programme, Principals/ Vice-Principals/ School Heads of Secondary and Senior Secondary Schools affiliated to CBSE may apply in the prescribed form.

The programme organizing authorities will close the registration after receiving registrations from the required number of candidates. The size of the batch for training will be 35 for each venue. The details regarding the training schedule and venue are available on the website of the IIMs.

While talking about the training programme, IIM Amritsar explained that the training programme will focus on the varied issues that the Principals and the teachers grapple with in the day-to-day functioning of their schools.
