To apply for admission to the MS (By Research) programme, candidates must have the following eligibility:

• Eligibility: BE/BTech/ MSc or equivalent qualification in any discipline with a minimum of 6.0 CPI on a 10-point scale or 60% aggregate Or BTech/ BDes from one of the IITs with a minimum of 8.0 CPI or CGPA on a 10-point scale (Relaxation of 0.5 in CPI or 5% aggregate for SC/ ST/ PwD candidates)
• Selection: GATE/ NET JRF + Written Test and/or Interview (For Sponsored (Full-Time)/Part-Time/IITG Project-staff category, GATE score or NET/INSPIRE, etc. are not required)
