Jamia Hamdard is now inviting applications for Non-Resident Indian (NRI)/ sponsored category students for the academic session 2020-21. The candidates who wish to take admissions to Undergraduate and Postgraduate courses offered by Jamia Hamdard can submit their online applications on or before November 20.
The admission portal is open for foreign and sponsored category students for undergraduate and postgraduate programmes including medical, pharmacy, unani, medicine, nursing, science, computer applications, management, law etc.
In order to get admission to Jamia Hamdard, students need to fulfill all the eligibility criteria. For undergraduate courses, the eligibility criteria is class 12 pass, while for postgraduate courses is a minimum bachelor’s degree. “The qualifications required for eligibility for admission to different courses can be checked in detail from the prospectus. Only those students who have qualified from foreign universities or Boards of Higher Education recognized as equivalent by the ‘Association of Indian Universities’ (AIU) are eligible for admission,” as per the varsity notification.
The varsity will be uploading the name of the selected candidates on its official website; i.e. jamiahamdard.edu. Further, the selected candidates will also be informed on e-mail ID/ SMS provided in the application form. Students can find the tentative schedule of tests/ interviews/ counselling, 2020-21 from the varsity website. Students who are applying for admission are advised to keep checking the official website of Jamia Hamdard for any update or information.
The university maintains the School of Law, Hamdard Institute of Legal Studies, School of Interdisciplinary Studies, School of Engineering and Technology, School of Pharmaceutical Education and Research, School of Humanities and Social Science, School of Unani Medical Education and Research, School of Distance and Open Learning, School of Management and Business Studies, and Jamia Hamdard Kannur Campus. The School of Pharmaceutical Education and Research was ranked first in the 2019 National Institute Ranking Framework. The university does not charge the same amount for all the courses.
