The Kerala Infrastructure and Technology for Education (KITE) released the timetable for the classes that will be carried out through KITE Victors Channel, and they will be also available on YouTube.

The Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan on June 1 informed that the academic year in the state begins today i.e. June 1, 2020 with online classes for school students launched by the name ‘First Bell’.

The Kerala Infrastructure and Technology for Education (KITE) released the timetable for the classes that will be carried out through KITE Victors Channel, and they will be also available on YouTube. Teachers will be conducting classes and completing syllabus of the new session online as schools are still shut due to the increasing number of COVID-19 cases in the country.

While launching the online classes for the new session with an opening remark on June 1 morning, Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan said that the government has opted for online classes as students cannot reach schools due to COVID-19.

The state CM added, “Our children are entering the new academic year. Due to COVID-19 children cannot reach schools right now. Instead, the government is preparing a system for a home study. Our academic year begins with online classes. Classes will be broadcast according to the timetable set by the Kite Victors Channel. Classes are also made available through YouTube.”

According to the reports, the online classes will be conducted from morning until evening. Students of all the classes will be attending the online sessions from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm from Monday to Friday. Teachers of all the classes will be allocating various time slots to students of different standards according to their subjects and needs. The classes will be conducted online until normalcy is restored.

Meanwhile, the Kerala government conducted Kerala SSLC and DHSE +1,+2 exams from May 26 to May 31, 2020, amid the ongoing pandemic. While dismissing the plea challenging the conduction of Kerala SSLC and Kerala Class 12 and 11 exams, the court said, “It is not a complete shutdown, the state government informed the court that they are conducting the exams with the necessary precautions.”

As the Kerala SSLC and Kerala 12th Board Exams are over, it is expected that Kerala SSLC Result 2020 and Kerala 12th Result 2020 will be released soon.
