Q: What is the eligibility criteria for admission to BTech programme at Amity University Lucknow?
A: To be eligible for admission to BTech programme at Amity University Lucknow, the applicant must have a minimum aggregate of 60 per cent in Class 12.
Applicants must also have a valid score of JEE Main or any other state-level engineering qualifying exam to be eligible for admission.
Q: What is the admission process? And, on the basis of what parameters the final selections are made?
A: The first and the foremost step in the admission process is to fill up the online application form. All eligible applicants need to fill up the online application form on the University’s official website by paying a nominal fee of Rs 1,100. Due to the global pandemic across the globe, the University has decided to waive off the application fee charges for all for 2020 admissions.
All students, who have appeared for JEE Main or any other state-level engineering qualifying exam, need to upload their respective scores along with a one-minute Statement of Purpose (SOP) video with the application form. And, students who have not been able to appear for any qualifying exam may get themselves enrol for Amity Common Admission Test (AMCAT) 2020 post which there will also be a Personal Interview round.
The final selection will be made on the basis of the overall profile of the students which includes their merit performance, scores in the qualifying exam or AMCAT and Personal Interview round (if applicable).
AMCAT 2020 is an MCQ-based exam with 30 minutes of duration. It will have Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics questions.

Q: What is the total cost of the four-year BTech programme at Amity University, Lucknow?
A: The cost of the four-year BTech programme at Amity University, Lucknow is Rs 1.12 lakh per semester and for the Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) specialisation, the cost is Rs 1.18 lakh per semester.
For students willing to opt for accommodation benefits on campus, there is an additional cost associated that varies as per the students’ requirements. The cost is Rs 65,000 for a non-air-conditioned room while for an air-conditioned room, the cost is Rs 1.1 lakh. There is a one-time security deposit of Rs 10,000 which is refundable at the end of the curriculum.
The mess charges are charged on an actual basis which is approximately Rs 4,000 per month.
Q: Does University offer any financial assistance or scholarships to students?
