The promotion certificates to all students of class 1-8, 9and 11, studying in government schools in Rajasthan will be made available after May 3.

Rajasthan State Education Minister Govind Singh Dotasra has said that all the students of class 1 to 8, 9 and 11, studying in government schools will receive their promotion certificates after May 3. Students can download the same once the lockdown is uplifted.

The education minister tweeted that the results will be issued to the students after the lockdown period and the certificates will be released with separate unique codes and will be available for candidates at PSP portal and Shala Darpan.

Students can download their certificates using the code.

Similarly, those students who are not studying in government schools will also have to download their promotion certificates from the PSP portal. The Rajasthan PSP portal is the official website for private schools in the state.

This year, due to coronavirus nationwide lockdown, the Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education, have provided one-time relaxation to class 9 and 11 students and promoted them to the next grade.

Class 1 to 8 students will be promoted to the next class directly.

In order to avoid academic loss of the students amid the coronavirus lockdown, the education minister has asked Information and Broadcasting Minister Prakash Javadekar to give free slots in Doordarshan to conduct virtual classes. In his letter to Javadekar, he has written that many students studying in government schools do not have easy access to an internet connection, due to which they are unable to attend online classes.

Doordarshan and All India Radio (AIR) have earlier started broadcasting virtual classes and other educational courses through their regional channels across the country, to avoid any academic loss of the students during this lockdown period.
