The inception of the Ramaiah Group of Institutes dates back to 1962, with the foundation of Ramaiah Institute of Technology by Late Dr MS Ramaiah, Founder and Chairman, Ramaiah Group. Ramaiah Institute of Technology (RIT) offers undergraduate and postgraduate courses across Engineering, Management, Computer Applications and Research streams. Ramaiah Medical College
Ramaiah Medical College, is the second institute established by the Ramaiah Group of Institutes. RMC is affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences (RGUHS), Karnataka and is recognised by the Medical Council of India (MCI).
