Smart India Hackathon 2022 registration deadline extended, check details
Smart India Hackathon 2022: Ministry of Education has extended the last date to register for the Smart India Hackathon 2022 until April 22, 2022. All the candidates who are interested can register on the official website of SIH 2022; i.e. sih.gov.in. Earlier, the last date to register was April 15. The registration process for the hackathon began on January 26.
The All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) tweeted, “Date for SPOC Registration, Team Nomination and Idea submission for #SmartIndiaHackathon2022 has now been extended to April 22, 2022. Don't wait for the last day! Register now”
Smart India Hackathon: Details
Smart India Hackathon is an initiative in which students from schools and colleges solvechallenges and real-life problems faced by various participating ministries and departments and win prizes while helping the government.
Over 45 ministries and departments have submitted problem statements and school and college SPOC registration is open. The SPOC of higher education institutions have been asked to organize internal hackathons and provide details of shortlisted teams while SPOC of schools can submit ideas against the themes of Smart India Hackathon 2022.
SIH 2022: Eligibility Criteria
Students from Classes 6 to 12 are eligible to showcase their talent and generate out-of-the-box open innovation ideas. Regular college students pursuing graduate or postgraduate programmes will be able to showcase their talent and generate out-of-the-box open innovation ideas.
