Three new universities to come up in UP, says CM Yogi Adityanath

Yogi Adityanath, Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, has announced that three new universities will be set up in the state. The varsities would be established in Aligarh, Azamgarh and Saharanpur districts.

Yogi Adityanath, Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, has announced that three new universities will be set up in the state. The varsities would be established in Aligarh, Azamgarh and Saharanpur districts. In the state budget for the year 2020-21, he had announced many developmental projects pertaining to education. According to the budget, there would be a medical college also in Lucknow titled Atal Medical College. The budget also proposed an Ayush University and a National Law University. The Chief Minister emphasized that the budget was based on development for youth. The state government has also commenced the apprenticeship plan for educated unemployed youth. Under the scheme, until the apprenticeship is over, Rs 2500 per month will be given to youth.

Talking about the UP budget, the focus has been on the development of every section of the society, especially weaker sections. The UP CM announced the Destitute Women Pension scheme for the maintenance of destitute women and their children. Under the scheme, he allocated an amount of Rs 1432 crore. Apart from this, he also allocated a fund of Rs 4000 crore for the betterment of malnourished children and people. Under the National Nutritional drive, the fund has been sanctioned.

Moreover, under the Swachh Bharat Mission (Rural), he allocated an amount of Rs 5,791 crore. Apart from this, he sanctioned Rs 500 crore for Ayodhaya airport and Rs 92.50 crore for Airport under the Regional Connectivity Scheme.
